We had 2 nights at the crown plaza hotel in Canberra as part our tour around the southern part of Australia. This was by far the best hotel we stayed in and the staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough for you. Whilst we only had breakfast in the hotel it was very good and reasonable value comapered to a number of other hotels we stayed at. The hotel was very clean and modern and in a good location which was very well located for central Canberra. There was a great walk around Great Burley Griffin Lake and the War Memorial is a 15 minute walk away and well worth a visit.
