“Simply the Best!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 13, 2012

I had booked for 2 nights here (after reading the glowing reviews) while walking the East Highland Way - was collected from my first stopping point @ Moy Bridge & dropped off to continue next day - a service I did not expect. My room was a dream - 'welcome' treats abounded - everything needed was supplied (& more!) - Simon & Fiona's attention to detail is awesome! I was also able to get my laundry done & they have an excellent drying room too - heaven for the walker! Also booked evening meals - superb - as was the breakfast. Fiona was fabulous about my special dietary needs - nothing was too much trouble. I can't wait to go back for a more relaxed stay - a case of 'when' rather than 'if'. The Rumblie's reputation is well deserved - even if I tried to 'nit-pick', I would not be able the fault these lovely people. Hope I can get back there soon...

We stayed here after a long day (20 miles of walking - the most challenging day of the East Highland Way). What a pleasant surprise to find such first class accomodation upon arrival! We had booked dinner in advance (having read all the raving reviews), and Simon and Fiona had kindly taken the initiative to serve dinner a little later than usual, giving us time for a quick shower. Delicious meal with ultra fresh home grown ingredients: we loved it. We had an excellent night's sleep, bathroom facilities were top, great breakfast...Simon helped us on our way the next day (thanks for the map & tips!) but we would have been more than happy to stay longer! This was our first trip to Schotland. When we return, we will definitely try to stay there again.

loved this place, food was amazing and Simon And Fiona were excellent hosts. The bathroom was what you would find in a 5 star hotel..We loved breakfast, evening meals are available on request which we thoroughly enjoyed. Local produce mostly out of the garden including eggs from the hens roaming around.
This is a good base to visit the Cairngorms.and would recommend The Potting Shed for coffee,
you can watch the red squirrels while enjoying some excellent cakes.Simon was full of knowledge
about where to go and visit.Would definitely stay again if we are in the area

Absolutely loved this place! Echo everything said above and add that Simon and Fiona the owners could not do enough for us, I arrived ultra early due to blistered feet and was made comfortable in the lounge with tea while my room got ready. Everything but everything is catered for here - use of washing machine, drying room, fresh milk in a guest's fridge. We were walking the East Highland Way and will be ever grateful for advice and help from Simon who is a font of knowledge re the walk and the area. Dinner is served in a gorgeous conservatory (no communal table as someone stated above) , with every dish's origins explained - mostly organic and mostly home grown (ie broccoli just picked from their garden that day and likewise raspberries) - the food was quite simply exquisite and would rival any 5 star restaurant /hotel. I loved this place, the bedroom was so comfortable - the en-suite was spectacular ! I can't recommend it highly enough, we will definitely be back and are recommending to all our friends , walkers and non walkers !

Stayed here for one noght on 10th May 2012. Taken me a wee while to get round to review! But this was a first rate B&B. Spacious, comfortable, well-equipped bedroom with stunning en-suite bathroom. Perfect for some quiet relaxation.
Breakfast was excellent too.

Room Tip: I had the downstairs bedroom (a twin room) - the bathroom was 5* hotel standard.

After a punishing day riding the Correyaireck pass I needed acomfortable bed and something to eat.Fortunately our tour operator had booked us into The Rumblie.
After a friendly but not over the top welcome from Simon and the opportunity to clean our bikes we were shown to our rooms.
To say we were surprised was an undertsatement. Its the oly time I have had a robe and slippers in a B&B and the facilities were first class especially the drench shower and the comfortable bed.
Much appreciated after a long day riding in the hills.
At dinner the food was superbly prepared by Fionas with in sufficient quatities to keep any hungry MTBer happy.with the ingredients sourced from their own garden.
Afterwards a relaxing few beers in the lounge rounded off what had been a tough day but a perfect evening.
The cost was very reasonable for he quality of the food and accomodation.
It goes without saying that I'll be back.

Room Tip: They do not have a pool my mistake on the above ratings but who cares

We found this place by accident (courtesy of SMARTBOX) and were lucky enough to secure a booking. To be honest you'd probably pass by without giving the place a second thought, but once inside it was clearly evident why all the previous reviews raved about the place.
Simon & Fiona are 'Green' enthusiasts and recyclables and organic food are a prominent feature in what can only be described as a 1st class B&B where hospitality and genuine friendliness are paramount. A beautiful feature garden surrounds the house, where chickens roam freely among the many home grown vegetables which feature heavily in the lovingly prepared food offered to the residents. We we lucky enough to stay on one of the nights Fiona made her signature dish of rhubarb crumble which by my wife's account is "to die for", and a vast array of organic produce at breakfast really put the icing on the cake.
The lounge is a real home-from-home where we relaxed and enjoyed a drink from the well stocked bar.
The bedroom was immaculate, modernly decorated and well appointed offering excellent views of the local scenery, with a very high standard en suite shower room which made for a really pleasant stay.
The couples attention to the comfort of their guests is second to none, both being excellent conversationalists who will gladly spend time offering their local knowledge to enhance your stay, and the welcome signs on the window for cyclists and walkers are testament to their desire to faciltate a memorable break for you whatever turns your crank.
