“Magical Gardens”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 4, 2013

These gardens are wonderful. You can wonder around at your leisure, sit by the lake or walk along the stream. The tulips and flowers are lovely, the vegetable garden is a delight and the whole place transports you back to times gone by. It is a truly idyllic place to spend a day.
There are also great cakes and coffee to be had in the cafe where you can watch the nest cam.
We will definitely revisit this beautiful oasis in the heart of Kent.

“The perfect day out”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 3, 2013

Today was our first visit to Marle but it certainly won't be our last. It was great, quirky and surprising, calming and de-stressing. The weather was at its best for this time of year (spring) which made it all that much better. We spent 4-5 hours here, walking all around the gardens, the woodland walk, chatting to the chickens, resting by the pond. The tea room has been upgraded it is no longer self service there is now a dedicated 'tea bunny'. Its good value for money and we visited twice during our time there. The magnolias were lovely and there were some gorgeous trees. All this on a 2 for 1 visit with Gardeners World Magazine not bad! A perfect day.

“Enchanted Garden”

Lovely afternoon out, beautiful gardens with quirky little corners full of interesting art and sculptures, especially like the "honesty tea room" in the barn.

“Ten acres of enchantment!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 28, 2012

This was our very first visit to Marle Place which we thoroughly enjoyed. There was something of interest around every corner i.e. the great woodland walk, the lovely herbaceous borders, the croquet lawn, the vegetable garden, the Victorian greenhouses etc. The little tea room was a delight serving tea, coffee and squash as well as delicious homemade cakes. You can also purchase new laid eggs from the resident hens. The gallery displayed some lovely work of art for sale. In all, it was a highly enjoyable visit.
