“Another lovely holiday at PKC”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 weeks ago

Once again a faultless holiday. Weather was extremely hot, and the outdoor and indoor pool proved a welcome respite from the heat. Staff are extremely friendly and go out of their way to assist you in any way they can. Restaurant serves an excellent choice at Breakfast, and the pool bar serves a good choice of lunch time snacks/meals. PKC is ideal for families or just couples, very quiet and relaxing location. Normally our Daughter and Grandchildren come with us, but this year it was just the 2 of of us, We still had a fantastic time. We visited several Restaurants in the Paphos area, Seriani is a favourite of ours in Coral Bay. Fat Mamas is also excellent. Tea for Two Restaurants on Tomb of the Kings Road and the one on Paphos Sea Front offer English Meals at very reasonable prices. The Hobo Cafe in the Harbour have an excellent choice of coffee's. The English Rose if you get their before 10.30a.m, with your coffee/tea they give Madeira Cake with your drinks at no extra charge. Their is also the Brand New Kings Avenue Shopping Mall,2 stories high with lots of Italian Designer Shops, Sports Shops, every kind of store you can think of, all under one Mall, and it is air conditioned with underground parking, so your car get's to stay cool. Costa Coffee has really excellent views from the second floor. It truly is a shoppers paradise. Only downside to our stay was the unfinished roadworks on Tomb of the Kings Road. It was started last year when we were there, and very little progress seems to have been made, none of the locals seem to know when the roadworks are meant to be finished. Traffic is getting through, but at some points along the road it is narrow and congested. Luckily we know a back route so was able to avoid the part of the road which on average 1.5 miles of roadworks, but then you don't get to see the wonderful sea views. It didn't spoil our holiday in the slightest, if you have hired a car, you just have to be extra careful along that stretch of the road.

Room Tip: All Apartments have Sea Views and are fully air conditioned

We have been members of this resort for 8 years, I may be bias, but we love going back each year, its like going home. We changed our weeks from April to June last year so more was happening.
Six of us went, our apartment overlooks the pool, it was superb, the weather roasting, the pool warm, the staff very friendly, no complaints.
Andreas and George who run the Taverna, Restaurant and Pool bar are friendly guys who organise and take part things they arrange, pool party etc, pity more residents don't take part.
A graet two week break looking forward to next year.

Room Tip: All rooms are similar, some are a climb as its built on a hill.

This was an RCI Gold Star resort.

The rooms were clean and of a good size

The staff were very friendly - let me give an example of their freindliness. It was lovely to hear how one of the ladies who cleaned our room was getting married the week we were there and how she bubbled in talking with us about it.

The two very minor drawback were

1. The TV available was limited to BBC and ITV - and often the streaming for BBC News didn't work, but a quick call to the front desk would put it right in minutes.

2. The Hot Tub only ran for a few minutes before you had to find a member of staff to reset it.

All in all it was a wonderful place to stay.

10 out of 10 to the staff
10 out of 10 for the room
8 out of 10 for the TV and Hot Tub - otherwise the facilities were fine.

Martin and Maddy

Room Tip: All Appartment were very ncie

My timeshare week is in May, usually l get lovely weather. Last year was really hot, "Late July weather, " l was told. This year four days of showers / storms !
It's happening the world over.
When l first went there, the Club , about 1k from the main road, had only a couple of small complexes next door and more or less nothing else. The main road itself ( good restaurant on the corner l am told ) had another break of a good kilometer with no buildings heading towards Paphos.
Now it's all one...and beyond !
A lidl supermarket is there this year, and away from Paphos a Waterpark looks soon to open.
So there's building and roadworks.
If you want a quiet, lazy holiday, what's wrong with a resort with everything you need ?
Two outdoor pools, one inside, gym, spa, god only knows what else is under ground. Laundry, bar, mini market ( a bit low on choice, but you will not starve, and it was early season ) and a restaurant that offers a week's breakfast for under €25 !
Fully functioning kitchen.
The staff are great , most speak good English, the place is spotless and comfortable, the gardens well tended. Oh ! and there's free wi-fi in Reception and the Bar.
The only moan that l have heard and understand , was this year , a guest wanted a resort where he could wander outside and there would be endless bars and restaurants on the doorstep for him to find a favourite.
You can, but it's not a wander, it's a good walk, and taxis aren't cheap. ( l don't go out drinking so always hire a car.)
Please note , you are unlikely to ever find KHLORACAS on road signs, l think l have only seen CHLORACAS.
But that's Cypriot road signage for you.

Room Tip: I would always ask for a view, a few lower appartments do not have good ones.

We started out here in B block just after PKC started and moved to block Q a few years ago and have had no regrets. Its a great place to chill out and do nothing and with Lidl just round the corner eating in is cost effective. The site and apartments are clean and tidy and the cleaners are so efficient and polite.
Its just a pity that it looks as though the final phases will not be completed for some time if at all but that doesn't stop us looking forward to our holiday there.

Although a time share it can be rented for a stay. We are lucky we have one of the highest apartments on the site which overlooks the whole of Paphos town and sea.
The rooms are beautifully layer out everything you could wish for dishwasher and washing machine. The amenities on site are good too. There are two large swimming pools plus one indoor There is a steam room wet and dry and a Jacuzzi. The Restaurant is run by George and Andreas you couldn't eat any better. They also run the Bar where you can watch television including all the sports channels. In all you couldn't fault this place. It is slightly off the beaten track so you could use a car but we find the buses are great just a short walk to the stop, keeps you fit. They run so frequently and only €1:50 each way or you can get a €5 for a day ticket then you can hop on and off wherever you are. The new Kings Avenue shopping Mall has just opened it's large and even has a Marks and Spencer in it plus many more well known shops. Paphos is starting to smarten up well worth a visit.

Room Tip: The higher the room the better. Housekeeping every day except Saturday. Excellent.

My companion has a time share here and invited me to accompany her during her stay. The apartment was more than adequate although the new lounge furniture was not the most comfortable to sit on. The apartment was on the front of the development with good sea views and the sun all day. Nothing was open on site but it was early in the season. We had wall to wall sunshine during our two weeks stay so the two outdoor pools were well used. You can walk to the town or harbour quite easily (50 minutes) or you are very close to the bus route. there are some very nice restaurants within a short walk and Lidle's supermarket is close by. the apartment was regularly cleaned and towels and bedding renewed. There is building work going on in the area. but if you are a regular visitor to Paphos you have come to accept this.
