A fabulous collection of well cared for historic aircraft, mostly UK military from the 1950's onwards. With a smattering of military aircraft from other countries, including Russia, Sweden and the USA.
The whole site is pristine and though difficult to maintain the larger outdoor displayed aircraft only show limited signs of weathering.
Run largely by volunteers as a charity, so do not forget to gift aid your entry if you are a UK tax payer. There is a cafe and a well stocked shop with large numbers of aircraft models and other memorabilia.
My favourite aircraft on display were the Avro Shackleton, Fairey Gannet and English Electric Lighting which was looking very smart having been repainted.
