My husband and I decided to try Luciano's, as it looked a bit different and cool, which definitely appealed. Inside, the decor is lovely, lots of light and sophistication. We were handed a menu board and told to take a seat. The only tables free had not been bussed, but we sat down anyway. Basically, they had paninis and salads. My husband decided on a panini and I ordered a chicken salad with walnuts. His el greco panini was nice, but oily, and it was served with a side of crisps, which for my husband was too much oil after the oily panini. My salad was tiny and completely devoid of any flavour whatsoever. I mean, all the components appeared to be fine, it just tasted of nothing. The occasional olive provided some respite to the tasteless textures.
Their desserts, on the other hand, were excellent. Carrot cake was a tad bit dry, but their pecan pie was fantastic, and as good as anything I've had in the South (the States, that is).
All in all, we will not be returning to eat. We might pop in to pick up the occasional dessert, but no more.

I'm sorry you had such a disappointing experience with your salad, I can only apologise that you didn't enjoy it... We have recently reviewed all of the salads, and I hope you will come back to try them!
As we are an independent, we are always open to suggestions, and please for future visits to us, if there is anything that you would like us to add to any of our salads, sandwiches or pastas, please do not hesitate to ask us and we will always do what we can
I have to agree though about the pecan tart, it is one of my favourites! Make sure you try the white chocolate and cranberry flapjack next time!
