“A paradise 30' from Rome”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 11, 2014

Everything was perfect, the room, the food, the view, the spa, the service. Just one personal matter, I would have preferred the mattress firmer. The food is very good, vegetables freshly picked from the garden. Loved my rabbit entrée with deep fried courgettes. The spa is heavenly, hot jacuzzi in a zen like setting.

“Excellent food in a beautiful, modern setting, friendly service”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 14, 2014

This is a spectacular place to go and have a wonderful lunch outside Rome, when you visit the Frascati wine area. There is a beautiful boutique hotel, great spa and it is all about the food, which food is modern and tasty. On top of that, the owner is clearly often around, and he has appointed a great team to manage the restaurant. I am sorry we did not stay over at the hotel, go for dinner here on our last night in Rome!

“Unexpected in the mid of nowhere experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 20, 2013

We were driving from Amalfi to Dolomites and we got hungry as it was about lunch time and we took out our Michelin app and randomly chose this one as it seems to be close to the highway so we didn't have to do big detour.

The road leading to this tranquil resort was like an off-road track so secluded we started getting worried at the beginning but when we saw the place and later the interior of the building, we were rather impressed with the modern design.

The food was really good--with organic ingredients from their garden. The staff was very friendly and explained to us the menu well (the English menu we got just said 'beef', 'duck' or 'pasta'--for each dish). This is one of the best food we've had during our 2-week trip and we've been to a michelin star too in this trip. And the wine was REALLY good.

Giula took us on a tour of the resort, showing us the modern room, the spa, the swimming pool and the area in general which made us wanna stay and get some relaxing treatment. She also explained that the resort is easy to reach from Rome as they have shuttle service and the train ride is around half an hour. If only we didn't have to continue driving up that day.

I will definitely come back (and hopefully stay a couple of days for a quiet retreat) and I highly recommend this place (to eat and stay).
