Possibly one of the most popular bush pub in NT, the Daly Waters Historic Pub was filled with travellers and tourists even during the Wet Season. When I was staying there, all the cabins and motel rooms were taken, along with most of the budget rooms.
I stayed in the cabin which was OK given that it is in the middle of the bush. There was no cooking facility though (only fridge and kettle), even if it was called a cabin. Don't expect this to be a first class cabin given that it is all managed by the people living there. Obviously to get a plumber, builder or electrician to fix something here will cost a small fortunate. There is a pool available for use. Personally I think the price they charge for cabin and motel is a bit pricey, but I guess there isn't too many choices around this part of the world.
The pub itself serves fantastic meal, and the barra was possibly one of the best I've had around NT. There are fancy decor inside the pub and you will be amazed by the number of travellers who make the effort to come past this small bush town. It is 3km from the Stuart Highway turnoff.
