“little gem”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 15, 2013

went today as a foursome. our first time. very cosy, lovely staff greeted us and took us to our table. chose a variety of garlic breads, followed by pasta dishes and pizza for mains. all were judged to be excellent. three of us ate sweets, which again were first class. washed down with excellent house wines, we will definitely be eating there again. price very reasonable too.

“Seconds are just as good”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 14, 2013

This was our second visit to Angelo's, this time we took family and once again we were not disappointed. The ribs are by far the best I have ever tasted and my pizza, quattro stagioni was excellent. Cracking service, pleasant staff and a reasonable price.
And it's local, I love this place, just booked for my wife's birthday next Sunday.

“Excellent place for lunch”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 22, 2013 via mobile

Called in for lunch yesterday. Lovely warm welcome from the staff. They arranged for a couple of tables to be pushed together so that my mum could get her wheelchair up to the table. They gave us a couple of minutes to settle ourselves in before coming to take our order. We all had smoked salmon and eggs benedict, and a couple of portions of chips which were delicious and my mum had a sticky toffee pudding with ice cream which she said was excellent. Staff were friendly and efficient without being in your face.
Decor here is modern and and comfortable. Excellent for people with mobility problems too.
Can't wait to go back in the evening when it becomes a pizzeria.

“Excellent food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 11, 2013

Visited on recommendation. Wimbledon was just finishing when we arrived so we were the only couple in but this did not spoil our experience. The welcome from the staff was really friendly. The food was freshly made and was delicious. The weather was hot on that evening so we really felt as if we were on our holidays. As time went on Angelos soon filled up it seemed a lot of people were regulars, can't blame them ,we would definately go back. The only down side is that there is only one toilet, so if you're bursting and there's a queue you may have to head for the pub a couple of doors down. Don't let this put you off, food is beautiful.
