The accomodation here was just beautiful. Gill offers a very personalised service as well as still giving you your own space during your stay. The accomodation was furnished beautifully and exceptionally clean. And Breakfast was just amazing. At no time did we feel crowded in with other guests as most of the rooms are well apart and the property was very spacious with a number of lovely private spots to sit and enjoy the view.

Room Tip: There are only two rooms which are side by side and there is a seperate room on other side of proper...

Cannot praise Kimeret Place highly enough... breathtaking location, fantastic accommodation, and the very best of hosts - Gill and Ian (and the dog... Emma!) - whose kind and thoughtful hospitality made for a perfect Christmas celebration. Most highly recommended... if we are lucky enough to have the opportunity, we will be back!

Gill is a host who has been used to offering high quality hospitality and in her B&B she excels. The rooms are spacious, superbly appointed in a property that has lovely views. Her kitchen diner is state of the art and she produces food and cakes to match. She has a wealth of local knowledge and print outs of trips she justifiably recommends. Access to Abel Tasman is an easy drive away and really good value restaurants are not far. One of her many fortes is origami on the first sheet of toilet paper. You won't believe how beautiful, varied and intricate they are. Help and advice with a sense of humour are always available and after a day touring around this beautiful area you can look forward to a different Maori story on your pillow to read each night. This B&B is a treat and to be thoroughly recommended especially for the chocolate brownies!

Kimeret Place is highly recommended. We were a group of 2 couples, New Zealanders from Auckland and Dutch cousins from Amsterdam. The two adjoining studio rooms were a perfect set up for us. Beautifully presented, clean and with those extra special touches such as home baking and fresh tomatoes out of the garden delivered along with the pepper grinder and olive oil just as we needed it for our home cooked dinner. The setting is completely private within a lovely garden complete with gentle birdsong and a restful outlook over the tidal inlet. Conveniently situated to participate in all that the Abel Tasman has to offer with brilliant advise from our wonderful hostess, Gill. Don't hesitate, you don't need to look any further.

What a wonderful time we had at Kimeret Place in October. We chose to stay at Kimeret because of its proximity to Nelson for the RWC, but in fact it had so much more to offer. Our room was palatial, the views stunning and the host Gill (and dogs Alice & Emma) charming.
Having spent some time touring the South Island we decided to stop at Kimeret Place for a week. It was great to have some time to chill out as well as seeing some great sights. We asked Gill for some advice regarding a boat trip in the Abel Tasman which resulted in a superb trip with Rod Stewart!
Gill really thinks of everything with great attention to detail. Fab breakfasts, beautiful suite and I wouldn't have put it past her to have organised the great weather that we had during our stay! We have had our toilet paper folded to a point, but never before have we had a rose!
To sum up - we loved it, we'll be back.

Having spent 5 weeks tearing around the North Island following the Welsh rugby team we had a few days of r and r on the South Island. We couldn't have chosen a better place to unwind and recover! Our only regret was that we didn't have more time here.
Gill's attention to detail and her exquisite taste make it a luxurious place to stay. This, combined with the stunning surroundings and the warmest of welcomes, makes it the best B and B we've ever stayed in.
Kimeret Place is ideally situated for the Abel Tasman Park, Nelson and the miles of glorious coast line just on the door step.
Gill goes out of her way to make your stay a memorable one and has all the information you could possibly want to get the best out of your visit to this area.

It is rare to find a place that goes beyond your expectations... and Gill has certainly achieved this. A warm welcome, luxury rooms and amazing surroundings makes a stay here the memorable part of anyones trip to New Zealand. Keep up the good work and I look forward to being able to return.

Room Tip: Book early to avoid disappointment
