I was there with my family (all matures), last August and stayed 8 nights. If you want to experience how rural life could be fantastic, then visit Villa Salkim. Ekincik is a small, traditional seaside village where there is no access to national newspapers even. You are far from stressful city life. You are walking to silent beach of Ekincik among sheep of villagers! You can wake up with a rooster's crow! There is no luxury in this village and this is what it makes genuine. You can walk to forest on mountain in early morning. Access to region's well-known touristic places such as Dalyan, İztuzu (reproduction area of carettas!) is quite easy. Food is extremely professional and nice, especially ask for traditional aubergine dishes, rice pilau with tomato sauce, pogacha (a traditional Turkish pastry for breakfast) and homemade saury yoghurt. As to fish, no doubt it is deliciously cooked, yet they are bought from fish farms. If you want to taste sea fish of Aegean Sea, you have to travel northern villages of long coast, like Karaburun, Çandarlı. You can take boat trips and you can ask for your own rota, if you like diving. You should see small sea cave that is called Delikli Burun, I swam in cave but I do certainly not recommend you; injuring any part of your body is inevitable because of sharp reeves.
And my final words, I hardly ever visit a place once more since there are new places to discover on the world. Yet I have already booked a room around mid-June to be there for my honeymoon!
