This place is full on weekends but usually empty during the week. It's about a two hour drive from Luanda so a good place to go to relax and re-charge batteries as it is near a lake. (You can't swim in it because of the crocs but they do offer short boat rides and you can fish from the shore.)
They have cottages, suites and twin bed rooms which are modern and clean. The trouble is some of the rooms have issues such as plumbing or air conditioning malfunctioning. They do have a small gym but most of the equipment doesn't work. Internet is available at reception for a fee. Pool water wasa bit dirty and pool is small.
The restaurant serves good Angolan food buffet style. Vegetarians will be catered for.
Management is friendly and eager to help. We went to ride at a nearby stable and they sent a car to pick us back up.
This would be a two or three star elsewhere, but is an Angolan four star.
