This Inn is located on the beautiful Kancamagus Highway. Don't worry if you are sensitive to traffic noises, it is not much of a highway! We kept the windows open all night and didn't really hear anything at all. The Inn is a big, tudor style building that is set back from the road behind some trees. The rooms are quite large, very comfortable and spotless. Each room seems to have large mural-like wallpaper. The decor is a little outdated, but the rooms are very nice. We really appreciated the mini fridge, microwave, DVD/VHS player and hair dryer! One nice touch is a large library of DVDs and VHS tapes in the breakfast room for you to borrow.
A simple continental breakfast is included. They have a variety of cereals and breads, bananas, apples, juices, yogurts and coffee. Its not a heavy breakfast (there are plenty of restaurants in the area if you want something more) but just enough to make you feel at home and to start off your day.
The Inn keepers are an extremely friendly and helpful couple who are very kind and welcoming, and live on the premises. In the lobby of the Inn, they have pictures on display of the Inn being built. You can tell how much they love their Inn and take pride in it. I would definitely return to this Inn as its a rare opportunity to stay on the Kancamagus Highway and not have to be in a tent!
