While traveling w/ an 8-yr old, we stopped here for lunch - and were all pretty hungry.
First, there was no kids menu. So we had to order a (very expensive) lunch for our son. Basic chicken strips, hard & chewy, were almost $15. And, they were served on a pile of cold stale french fries, on top of a pile of shredded lettuce (lettuce & fries were to make the food look like "a lot").
I ordered a Calamari sandwich, for just under $20 (!). Now mind you, had it been GOOD, I *almost* wouldn't mind the price. The calamari was over-cooked and chewy, and the roll was hard and inedible. The sandwich was also very dry, with nothing on it except a little mayo and lettuce. Yuck. Worst seafood sandwich EVER.
The hubby's food was also awful, he ordered a basic sandwich, which was also over $15 - and awful.
All of our food was not fresh, I swear it's as if they pulled it out of the Gorton's fisherman frozen food box & overcooked it.
The service was also very bad, and borderline rude. Our Shakira-wanna-be waitress never checked on us, and was more concerned with her appearance and socializing w/ other staff to give us the time of day.
Bottom line = KEEP DRIVING, even if you're hungry! Anywhere else would be better, even a convenience store food aisle.
