Very nice open fire restaurant. Food was delicious. Staff was very friendly. Prices were a bit high.

“The Best Restaurant in Puerto Morelos”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 14, 2013 via mobile

We have been visiting Puerto Morelos for 18 years.
This is by far our best dining experience. The food, service and price were amazing.
We had pasta, steak, pizza and chicken. They were great.
Al Chimichurri is a must.

“Slow service but worth the wait!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 7, 2013

We visited on two occasions - the first when the restaurant was extremely busy so we tried to focus on the food and not the at-times painfully slow service. Very generous portions of steak and pasta. We returned a few days later right at opening expecting much better service - staff still seemed overwhelmed. The bolognaise spaghetti (despite it curiously not being piping hot) was again worth the wait.

“more money, but a lot of food!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 5, 2013

Al Chimichurri reminds me of the nicer, pricier eating place you would go in the states when you are tired of the little places. The atmosphere easy and the staff was friendly. The menu had quite a bit on it, a good variety and costs a little more than most places. My husband ordered a ribeye and I ordered the Don Pepe salad. Our eyes popped out of our heads when they arrived. Both were huge!!!! Neither of us could finish. We both loved our orders and wouldn't hesitate to go there again. We recommend this place to everyone.

“Fabulous meal”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 2, 2013

No table at the restaurant so went next door to the Wine Bar but was served from Al Chimichurri menu with good wine from the Wine Bar. We sat in the courtyard and it was very pleasant. Had steak, pizza and chicken which we all enjoyed. Generous portions and well presented. Definitely would recommend this place.
