We were a bit apprehensive about attending this one day course, but the whole experience was first class. From the moment that we arrived for coffee and pastries to the end of the day when we sat down to eat the meal that we had helped to prepare. The good thing was that no pressure was applied, so you felt comfortable in whatever you volunteered for. It was also good to meet people from different countries and backgrounds. Ages varied from early twenties to us ( let's just say that we are well into pension age! We started off by having a chilli smelling contest and then went on to salsas and finally a three course meal. Can't say " Been there, done it, got the T shirt" as they give you an apron instead!
