“Fabulous Experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 22, 2013

We wanted to attend last year but did not make reservations in time. This year we made our reservations and went today. The entire experience was fabulous. All 12 of the participants were there 10 minutes early. This is a 5+/-hour event. We all met Chef Pablo who was the teacher for the day. We made an entire meal from the appetizers to the desert. There are 7 cuisine areas in Mexico. The entire menu was given to us in a cook book format for us to make notes and take home. There was nothing that we could not make at home for ourselves or a group of friends. The chef was just great. Very friendly, informative, took all questions and was extremely friendly. We will go again. Great value for the price.

“A Delicious Experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 14, 2013

My husband, daughter and I decided that a cooking class would be a fun adventure (yes, a family of foodies). We learned quite a few things from the chef about dishes from different regions of Mexico. At the end of the class, we enjoyed a wonderful lunch made by the students in the school's delightful dining room. It was a very pleasant experience from beginning to end.

“food with fun!!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 9, 2013

oh what a wonderful experience. serious lesson in traditional cooking with a very humoured atmosphere. all participants appeared to be having a great time and learned about some great dishes and how easy it can be to cook them, even for a 'non cook' like me!! an unusual excursion on holiday but a great day out. well worth a visit.

“What a great gift!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 12, 2013

My husband and I visited Puerto Morelos for Christmas a few years ago and trying to pack light, we decided to make the vacation itself our gift to each other. Of course we brought some little things to open and mine was a certificate for a day at The Little Mexican Cooking School. I had great trepidation as I was worried I might be the only non-gourmet attendees. Nothing to worry about! Bring your spouse and have some fun. Great food and if you are smarter than me, you'll probably learn some very tasty Mexican dishes much better than your local Mexican restaurant! You won't forget it any time soon. :) What a clever Christmas gift! Way to go hubby! ;)

“Delicious and fun”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 29, 2013

Our family had a great morning there. We were really able to roll up our sleeves and cook, and learned so much the local cuisine. We have put some of the skills learned there to work in our own kitchen back home The local chef was very knowledgeable and engaging. I highly recommend this as a place to visit. Also, for couples, the hotel that is on the property looks lovely and relaxing.
