“Had an awesome time in an awesome place!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 3, 2014

Loved almost everything about this resort. Our son's wedding went off without a hitch. Service was great. Amenities are wonderful. Particularly enjoyed the central palapa that serves as coffee room, ice cream parlor, classroom, activity room, and just-lay-and-do nothing space. Lots of variety when it comes to food. Had fun painting on the beach.

Me and my husband went on our honeymoon here during August 2013. We stayed in an adult only junior suite that went straight out to the pool sections.
It was an amazing place to stay... beautiful weather, scenery, food and service!
Would definitely recommend staying here when visiting Mexico!!

We just returned from a 2 week stay at the Azul Sensatori for our wedding and honeymoon. We had a group of about 60 people travelling with us and all across the board, everyone was in love with this resort!!! My husband and I had both been to different all-inclusive resorts, as well as a few of our guests and this was everyone's first time here. The general consensus from everybody was that this was HANDS-DOWN the best resort they/we had ever visited. I think we all felt like royalty by the time we left :)

From what we heard from all of our guests, everyone's room was incredible!! We were lucky enough to have our room upgraded and we stayed in one of their honeymoon suites. It was absolutely beautiful. We had a gorgeous corner balcony overlooking the ocean, as well as a big jacuzzi tub right in the room. The room's were all kept incredibly clean, and we really didn't see any wear and tear at all. The resort is kept immaculate in all areas from what we could tell! The housekeeping staff was so friendly and very efficient. Guadalupe was assigned to our room for the duration of our stay…She was fantastic!

We looked at a few other resorts when considering where we should get married. Neither my husband or I had been to this resort, or any Karisma resort previously…It will be hard to try out any other chain ever again! We met with the wedding coordinator on the second day of our trip, and the team there was fantastic. Janet was the coordinator we met with and she made everything so easy and worry-free for us. We literally had nothing to worry about. She and the rest of the team took care of absolutely everything for us. We opted to have both our ceremony and reception on the beach. A decision we will never regret! It worked in our favor that the weather was absolutely gorgeous that day, but the location was perfect. In the days leading up to our wedding, we had seen a few others taking place on the beach. It wasn't totally private, and there were people who gathered around to watch the weddings taking place, which was something we both thought might bother us…However, on our wedding day we were completely wrapped up in our day and our moment that it didn't play a factor at all! The ceremony was beautifully done. We opted to have a judge marry us, and she was great to work with. I was concerned that we wouldn't meet her until we were actually at the wedding ceremony, but she walked us through the entire thing and it was perfect. Our amazing wedding coordinator who I corresponded with prior to the wedding was kind enough to send me the wording for the ceremony that would be read at the wedding so we knew how things would go.

Having the reception on the beach, we were concerned that it might be too windy or cool. Not a problem at all! We went with one of the buffet dinner options, and they had everything set up right on the sand. Very cool, and something very unique and intimate for our guests. We had a small dance floor set up right in the sand as well. All in all, the evening was perfect. Sergio was a standout for us at the wedding reception - he was incredibly attentive, making sure we had enough food and drink for the entirety of the evening. Our guests all said they felt very well taken care of not just on the trip itself, but that night especially. The entire staff did an amazing job at making it a very memorable day for us.

We have absolutely no complaints about this resort. The wedding coordinator we worked with prior to the wedding was Lynda Gomez out of Miami - she played a huge part in making this the easiest wedding to plan. She helped with every decision along the way, and really simplified the entire process for us. We can't thank her enough!!! The entire staff at the hotel made it an amazing week for us, but there were a few who really did go the extra mile for our entire party. Guadalupe on the beach was fantastic!!! Very attentive, and by the end of our trip she knew most of us by name and even came to say goodbye to everyone on our last day. Very kind, sweet lady who we felt like we got to know very well on this holiday. Omar from the entertainment staff. We were lucky enough to meet Omar on our first night and he brought us down to our first ever beach party! Such a great time. We also took a few Zumba lessons with him on the beach, which were a blast! He was fantastic, very friendly, and made the trip a lot of fun for everyone. Sergio was on the beach with us at our wedding reception. He made sure that everyone was well taken care of that entire evening, and for that we are so very thankful. Both my husband and I felt like we really got to enjoy the entire wedding day and night, and we certainly have the staff to thank for that! Finally, our wedding coordinator on-site, Janet. Our day was flawless in every way, and I know that she and the rest of the wedding team made that happen. The bouquets were beautiful, the decor was perfect, and everything ran smoothly and on time. She made sure to check in with us a few hours before in regards to the weather, and had everything running perfectly.

Not sure what beach other people visited, but we thought it was fantastic here! The water maybe wasn't great for swimming, but the beach itself was beautiful. Lots of chairs for everyone. I found that if you wanted one of the Bali beds, you would need to get up early as they were a hot commodity, but for good reason! Lots of activities going on throughout the resort every day - beach volleyball, Zumba, and water aerobics were all ones that we participated in with our group and it was definitely the talk of the trip!

The food was incredible!!! Every single restaurant we ate at was amazing, and our guests had the same things to say. My Mother is on a strict gluten-free diet and she felt very well looked after. We were asked at every single restaurant if there were any food allergies among our group, and anyone with special dietary needs were very happy with the service and food options they received. Not a bad thing to say about the food - each restaurant was fantastic!

I would HIGHLY recommend this resort to anyone looking for a great vacation spot. The staff is outstanding in their service, the food was incomparable to any resort I had been before, and the wedding was truly a dream for both my husband and I. No complaints from us!

Room Tip: We stayed on the 4th floor in the 3rd building. We were steps away from the beach, and it was very q...

Me and my husband have just returned from an amazing 11 nights at the Azul Sensatori for our honeymoon. We stayed in
the adults only junior suite & we were very impressed with our room, we did look into getting a swim up room but we like to be around the pool or out and about so we were really happy with our room it was spotless everyday by the clesaners they do a fab job, we loved all the restaurants even the buffet was good quality & plenty to choose from, the best all inclusive food we've had. The grounds are always spotless & the staff were always friendly and couldnt do enough for us. We would love to go back to this hotel we havent got anything bsd to say about it.

We spent two weeks over Christmas at this hotel. There are a few little things which could have been better but overall we had a fantastic time. Our priority has to be our daughter who has Coeliac Disease and needs a gluten free diet. I did email the hotel before our arrival to inform them of this and they didn't disappoint! From the moment we stepped into reception we were treated like royalty! We were taken to a room, given refreshing towels, sparkling wine and Roman the Manager of food and beverages was called to speak to us. He basically told us he would get anything our daughter required throughout our stay which was very reassuring. We had a family suite in block 3 which was large enough and had a sliding door between sleeping arrangements for privacy. The room overlooked the sports pool and had a lovely view of the sea. The food is amazing. Our favourites were the Caribbean restaurant with lots of fish dishes and the Tapaz for a slightly different experience. The buffet (Spoons) served fantastic food although we didn't find the decor to be a 5* experience. The tables and chairs need updating and the table cloths need to be changed more frequently. We also found the beach BBQ a little disappointing as there was birds muck everywhere and the food wasn't warm enough. There are lots of comments about the beach seaweed. This is true on some days but is beyond the control of the hotel and they work endlessly to clear it. The pools are great and the daytime activities are too. The evening entertainment is good sometimes (a little cheesy at others)! All staff (apart from one experience) are fantastic and will do anything for you. We did tip and they do really appreciate it. We did the trip to x-Hal and would thoroughly recommend this. All in all we would recommend this hotel, especially for christmas with kids as it takes all the stress out of it. Father Christmas turned up by canoe on Christmas Day and it made a special day even better in the sunshine! We had a fantastic holiday with thanks to Roman for all his help.

Beautiful grounds with exceptional staff. You must try the spa too! Every restaurant was fantastic! Every single staff person was welcoming and a joy to be around! Can't say enough about this awesome resort. Biggest mistake was booking 2 of our excursions with Bahia Maya. They love taking your money and could care less if you enjoyed your excursion. Once we had issues they were cold and unfriendly. They rescheduled us for deep sea fishing and it was a gorgeous day. Truly disappointing. They rescheduled us for a windy rainy day and refused a refund due to the Marian didn't close. They are at this resort and are scam artists! We booked a snorkeling trip with Lomas travel and it was perfect from start to finish!!

Room Tip: We had 2 Jacuzzi ocean view connecting rooms. Beautiful!!

Wow! Only been here 2 days so far and what can I say. It's paradise. Our swim up suite is amazing. Room is clean and very big with a jacuzzi bath, walk on shower and large tv etc. Food is delicious. The spoon restaurant is great for breakfast, dinner and tea. They have everything you could ever think of. The Mexican and Caribbean restaurants are lovely too!! Tonight there's a party down on the beach which other guests say is one not to miss. The pools are warm and clean. The hotel is lovely and their are 30% more beds than guests so you never need to get down early for a bed. There are plenty. Overall it is amazing and we will definitely be back. Loving it!!!
