We went in early evening on Saturday - plenty of people in and a good lively atmosphere. Good selection of unusual beers, with good advice from the bar staff on what to try, enjoyed a few (felt like too many on Sunday morning!).
The choice on the menu was good - enough to make choice hard! The service was prompt, friendly and efficient and the quality of the food was top notch. In our group we had Goat's cheese, Chicken salad and Pate to start followed by Salmon with risotto, pork and a pie for mains - all of which were exceptionally tasty and good sized portions. After desserts we all left suitably full!
Think it is priced reasonably - meal for 4 including drinks as a whisker under £100 not bad at all.
Would advise booking - the restauarant area of the bar is reasonably small and when we arrived all tables were busy or reserved.
Well worth a visit
