“Good in different way !!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 30, 2012

we have visited many temples in Siem Reap town and most of them are in good condition with difference style which was built from 9th - 13rd century. Anyhow, Sambo Prei Kuk it was the big compound that show a bout their riches civilization of Khmer empire from six century. further more most temples in this compound was under conservation and over grow by vegetation. our guide was excellence, knowledgeable and friendly same as other Cambodian peoples in the country.
Totally, we enjoy our trip to Sambo Prei Kuk site. Definitely we recommend this place to travellers who are crossing road No.6 Siem Reap -Phnom Penh.

“For temple and history freaks”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 29, 2012

If you can't get enough from atmospheric temple ruins in thick forest. This is your place. Can imagine a lot of people won't be impressed. Access by nice and easy gravel road. Do not recommend to do by tuktuk.

“Worth a visit”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 14, 2012

Having visited Cambodia and Angkor Wat previously, we thoroughly enjoyed visiting these pre-Angkorian ruins. When we visited, there were very few visitors, but no guides available. We were guided by the local scarf selling children, who proved to be informative, but who also left us to explore the temples on our own. They were good value for the five $1 scarves purchased. These temples are certainly worth a visit.
