This is our last night of 3. Booked this as in the photos it looked tranquil and serene set in the Tuscan hills. It is indeed both of those things and much more. The views from where it is situated are breath takingly stunning. The accommodation way surpassed our expectations. We stayed in a superior double which was like a suite with large bedroom furnished Tuscan style, large bathroom with shower and a third room which can be used for reading etc. Outside is parking and a lovely gravelled area surrounded by trees that overlook the hills. Stunning. There is a lounge downstairs for viewing tv if you so desire and the accommodation appears to appeal to families young and old. The breakfast is simple and traditional. The staff are delightful. They provide a warm welcome and are very helpful. Someone said there are no options for evening meal. That is correct, but it does not detract from its charm. You simply have your meal before you return in the evening. Hotel Villa del Seminario is a wonderful surprise. A peaceful and calm oasis just outside of Lucca. We cannot recommend it highly enough. Come and stay. Experience its beauty for yourself!
