This property was fantastic. The location was absolutely beutiful, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff was friendly and helpful.

We ate dinner in the restaurant both nights and the food was excellent and the atmosphere was fantastic.

The only two negatives that I would have is the location is 1-2 kilometers on a very twisty narrow road to a village so you won't be walking to town. Also, it does have a tennis court but it appears to be in poor condition. If you went planning to play a lot of tennis you would be disapointed.

This is the most beautiful hotel that we stayed on our trip that included siena, Florence and Rome. The setting is amazing. The villa is located in hte middle of the rolling hills of Chianti and is quiet and poetic. The room is huge, and the pool area is beautiful too. The bathroom is updated, but not luxury. The breakfast is good, and the staff very friendly. Loved this place--the best part of our trip!

My wife and I arrived at Borgo di Vescine in September after we booked via web. The price of 170 euro for each of three nights was not cheap, but for sure completely worth every single euro.

They gave us the "honeymoon-suite", a circa 60 squaremetre suite with a terrace and a great view to a peaceful valley. The bathroom of the suite was seperated by a little floor with steps to go up. Very nice! The bed was on a platform, you had to go up 2 steps to get in. The staff was very friendly. We stayed often at the pool and had a drink. The prices for a bottle of vine at our own terrace was very ok, you can also drink your own vine, if you want.

The breakfast was perfect. We were able to sit at the hotels terrace and have it there.

Try also the dinner at borgo di vescine (25 euro per person) and the restaurant 100 metres away from the hotel, down the street.

The hotel is nothing for people who want party and fun. It was a very relaxing time at vescine. We will definitely come back!

With the exception of our room being a little on the small size, this place would merit a return visit. Very helpful staff and the pool was great after touring Tuscany. Breakfast on the terrace was very enjoyable and our dinner one night was a Tuscan experience. The restaurant just down the road-Ristornate Cantoniere-was some of the best food we had in Italy.
