“Old English Charm”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 6, 2013 via mobile

This estate is huge and a perfect spot for a picnic in front of the old English Mansion. It is surrounded by lush garden filled with giant trees, ferns, lots of shades, pond & lake & a mini waterfall. It is sooo well maintained & gives you a wee taste of the old world charm, very family & child friendly environment & also a perfect place for a dream wedding!

“Grand house with beautiful gardens”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 7, 2013

We went there a few years ago. The staff gave us a very detailed history about the original owner of the house and how the house was built and used. The garden is really beautiful and interesting. National Trust is doing a wonderful job to keep these histories of Melbourne alive.

“A step back in time”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 5, 2013

One of the jewels in the crown of the National Trust. The tour of the mansion is an interesting look at the way of life in a past era.
