Whilst I would agree with many of the criticisms already levelled at this hotel, I have to say it is the place we have most enjoyed staying at since the start of our Indian road trip a week ago. It has a sort of faded 60s glamour, which has a lot to do with the hotel design - a low level motel style building built around a large central swimming pool, with balconies and patios overlooking this space. It felt very peaceful and the beautifully tended gardens were a delight to look out onto! We also enjoyed the evening barbecue in the gardens of the hotel - possibly the best hotel meal we have had so far! So if you are happy to put up with this hotel's quirks and eccentricities - most notably the bizarre lighting system of the rooms - it is well worth staying here.
