“Superb Sunday Lunch”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 20, 2012

Probably the best Sunday Lunch beffet we have experienced. Everything about the afternoon was wonderful. The views are stunning, the satff friendly and helpful and the food was delicious. After a massive salad starer bar came choices of roast ribeyef beef, salmon and sea bass, chicken curry, beef bourguignon amongst others. This was finished off with an array of small individual sweets from which you could select as many as you wished.
Chef John made us very welcome and it was delightful Sunday afternoon.

“A truly wonderful & enjoyable experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 20, 2012

We went to the Elea for Valentine night, they had a six course tasting menu which was 35 euro per person including a welcome glass of champagne, every course was absolutely delicious and well balanced, it was one of the best meals we have had in Cyprus, the ambience, service and background music were just perfect for such a night.

“Disappointed”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 8, 2011

The welcome we got - rather the welcome we did not get - was very disappointing. Food was good but there was nobody to welcome us at the restaurant at about 12.15 though we booked; we had to wait on the terrace and finally we had to go and look for somebody to get our drinks order...On leaving, there was nobody to say 'a thank you and goodbye'. Good food is not the only factor in the operation of a successful restaurant but the service and welcome as well....
I put my comments on their facebook page and they removed it without having the decency to contact me to find out what happened....

“Expensive, pretentious only the view is worth the trip”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed October 4, 2011

we wnt for lunch on a Sunday lunch, the special of the day was barbecue for 25 euros per person which we chose. What a poor buffet that was!!!! english saussage, hamburger, pieces of steaks, chichen brochettes (dry and cold) not a seasonned salade! 3 slices of zucchini and eggplant grilled !! since there was many people quieing behing us we were afraid to take any as they would not be enough for the ones behind!!! and for that no dessert, no veggies nothing, we asked and were offered a free dessert with the grand name of "mango parfait", well it was cold, tasteless and you had to imagine there was mango in there because it was the color of mango but tasted like cardboard, the presentation was pretty ! but that is all, we paid with 2 bottle of water and 1 glass of beer almost 100 euros for 3 people, what a rip off!! table next to us on the veranda started to smoke hudge cigars!!! what a show off and disrespectfull of people next to you. don't bother to go there unless you want to show off , it is not worth your while!!!!!
