Where to start? There was only one other couple staying on our arrival and only a few more arrived during our 2 week stay. This was booked through Interval International and it was only on arrival that we were told that half board was mandatory. Having been fleeced of €880 we at least expected that we would have reasonable food. We were given a different menu to the non half board paying guests which was limited at best. Breakfast is fine if you like eggs, you can have them every conceivable way. Dinner is a choice of chicken, pork or fish. Everything comes with chips. Served with salad means 2 slices of cucumber and a small sliver of tomato. No vegetables served with any meal. We were told we could have something from the other menu as long as we paid extra for it. There were four of us and not once did our meals arrive together. One night our starter and main course arrived together! The restaurant constantly ran out of things limiting your choices even further. The service was slow and the orders were constantly wrong. The room service was poor. I wrote my name in the dust and it was still the when we left. I had to ask for bed linen to be changed after 8 nights as it had not been changed. The table tennis table is broken, the one pool table might have been good in it's day, and the tennis court is peppered with weeds. The indoor pool was not heated and was an extra cost again anyway. The cost to rent the room safe is extortionate as was wifi, although that is free in the lobby. The rooms themselves were spacious but need to be cleaned properly and maintained. The sofas and armchairs are stained. The rooms all seem to receive differing tv channels. We received only 2, BBC world news and CNN. The two rooms either side had extra channels! The bar in the lobby was closed the whole time we were there and the drinks were brought up from the restaurant, eventually. The optics were mainly empty and they ran out of beer and vodka. I could go on and on! There wasn't any atmosphere in the place. Zoe on reception was surly at best. The evening receptionist was pleasant though. There is no way this could be classed as a four or five star hotel, two or three at a push. Unless you have a good sense of humour do your self a favour and stay somewhere else!
