“Appreciation of warm hospitality manner.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 4, 2013

I had stayed in a Junior Suite Room recently and found the room was very clean and the bathroom as well. Breakfast is o.k with wide variety of food, Services are o.k. My appreciation of the stay is receiving warm hospitality treatment from Miss. Kotchamon & Miss. Sukjai, the management staffs of the hotel, which I will keep it in my minds forever.

I would avoid this hotel like the plague. Service is poor. Rooms are getting tired and worn out.

My biggest complaint is a nightclub called T2 basically below the hotel. It blasts techno music till 2am every night of the week. The base goes through the entire hotel.

Staff just say " oh yeah that's T2, everyone complains about that"

We stayed here the first night after our flight to Phuket. The hotel is big and tries to be better than it is. The room was quite dirty, especially the bathroom. The whole building needs renovation. Breakfast ok with wide variety of food, but because of the feeling of dirtyness in the hotel, I didn't want to eat from the buffet.

stayed for 2 nights, decor looks nothing like the website, out of 26 rooms booked for our stay 20 had cockroches, several had blood stained carpets and brown water marks on the walls, all toilets and bath/showers badly stained, bed linen was dirty and there was a general feeling of unclean and poor maintenace.

reception staff rude and ignored when we wanted assistance, pool dirty, gym worse that useless, food and bar product poor and over priced!

Pretty low standard all over.
Would not recommend due to filthy bathrooms, very tired decor and staff not speaking understandable English. Would not recommend to any of my friends or family. This hotel looks like it has received no attention in twenty years.

I stayed here for 2 nights because of work. Our company had a 2 day training event in the big ballroom. The banquent department was accomodating to cater to our requests, so the seminar went on very well. The room on the other hand was another issue. My toilet (wc) was clogged, called in the maintenace person not once but twice! Once at 12.30am & the other at 1.30pm the next day. It was stressfull. The bed & pillows were not comfortable, my aircon worked fine which was good. The room is just old and the facilities are old too. The housekeeping opened my door even though the Do Not Disturb sign was on! Did not knock to check if anybody was in. Fortunately I latched the door from the inside. The breakfast seemed like a big spread but the food was not nice. We catered lunch for the participants and the lunch was not nice either. So my conclusion: the food in the hotel is not nice. There are plenty of eating places around the hotel and shopping too. I would probably choose one of the newer hotels around the same area if i have to be in the city.

We traveled Thailand for 3 weeks and we were so disappointed with the Metropole. We arrived late and were given a small double even though we booked a room for 4. Mistakes can happen and details can be overlooked but the way we were handled was unacceptable as was the time we had to wait. 2 hours to get a poor solution to our room then 2 hours for room service. Tv didn't work and aircon leaked but the worst thing about the hotel was the attitude of the staff.

We are sorry for the inconvenience caused and I've some talking with our Executive House Keeping, 2 hours waiting for room services must be improved as soon as possible. Thank you.
