“Tranquil Oasis”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 5, 2012

Away from the hustle and bustle of crowded beaches, this select private resort offers an experience second to none. From the moment you arrive you'll be welcomed with open arms by the ex-pat owners Bobbyjoe and Steve who'll amaze you with their local knowledge and professionalism. Small local restuarants will cater for your every need, even Halal if thats your thing, or you can be served in your well-equiped private bungalow with whatever dish from from whatever restuarant takes your fancy. Visits to local attractions, pick-up and delivery from and to Phuket Airport, all arranged and competently performed. My only problem with writing this well-deserved review? more people will know about the place which might make it harder for me to get a booking next time!

Room Tip: If you the pool at your door-simply ask.

We stayed for eight nights but wish now it was a much longer stay.
Everything that needs to be said about this place has already been said if six stars could be given I would give it to them, there is no other place we have stayed where I really did feel like one of the family.
Just remember you are in Thailand if you think you will not feel safe riding a scooter or do not have the money for a rental car driver or taxi you may wish to look elsewhere, it is a little bit out of the way.

In saying that we hired a Honda Click from Steve & Bobbi and took it everywhere Rawai, Patong, Phuket Town, Wat Chalong and the Big Budda, the roads are really good, about half the road signs are in English you may take a few wrong turns but that’s all part of the fun you will never get lost. Make sure you take the time to talk to Bobbi & Steve and they will point out places tours and things to do that you may not know about. Robyn really enjoyed the snake show by the shooting range which we would have not known about if it was not for Steve. Mind you I am still looking for that Fishing Park in Phuket Town may be next time because we will definitely be back.

Spend there a few days and found there was nothing around if you are the kind of person who likes to walk around and choose your own restaurants and places where to go. The owners and staff are really nice people and very helpful to drive you to restaurants or help with excursions, they offer really nice discounts! Also offer bikes to rent! The room and place in general was quite clean but the bed a bit uncomfortable. The environment was nice and relaxing but not my cup of tea.

I chose Sansuko Ville because of so many positive comments on Trip Advisor, and all I can say is just that they are all true. This place if run by an extremely kind couple, who tries to meet any need of yours. The rooms/bungalows are extremely clean, very nice rooms, cosy, with fridge, free drinking water every day. The pool is very close to your rooms, very clean and there are palm trees between pool and bungalows. You have a plenty of choice when choosing breakfast, and you can eat lunches and dinners there as well, if this is what you chose, as they have food delivery from restaurants newby. Food is great. The bar is open practically non stop, with all sorts of drinks served there. They offer transport service to and from the beach, whenever you ask them as well as to and from the restaurants in the evening. You can also rent motorbike there. The beach is 3 minutes drive away and it is perfect, not crowded at all, there was a day when I was the only one there! It is long sendy beach. There is a little restaurant on the beach

This is for people who like quieter holidays, there are few excellent restaurants where you can enjoy Thai food and drinks. But, if you look for parting style of holidays then, this might be too quite place for you. Myself, I booked this place for 3 nights and wanted to prolong it as I liked it very much but it was fully booked.

Room Tip: My bungalow was 4 meters from the swiming pool and it was great.

Collected from the airport late at night by Mr. Lek and driven serenely to Sansuko where we were met by Bobbi-Jo. Our first impressions were clean, modern and efficient staff, thank you Ed, Dhoa & Bhea. (plus Tissue the guard dog).
We were shown to our room and it was spotlessly clean & comfortable, which was cleaned on a daily basis and the standard maintained. No need to take towels as these are supplied in the room and are also available around the pool area.
There was a good choice of breakfast which was cooked by Ed and could be eaten around the pool or on your veranda.
Bobbi-Jo and husband Steve were both extremely helpful and would drive guests to the local beach, restaurant or Phuket Town.
The location of Sansukoville within a village community gives access to restaurants and food stalls used by the locals at local prices benefitting the locals not fast food chains and the food is superb.
We would recommend this to anyone looking for a relaxing authentic Thai style experience. The touristy area's are only a 15 minute taxi ride away if required.

Bobbie, Steve and their staff welcome you to this lovely B+B, a collection of new, one bedroom air conditioned bungalows around a 10 metre pool, located 150 metres off the main road within a village community.

The hosts are from Yorkshire, and there is an English feel about the facility, which is spotlessly clean.

Nothing seems to be too much trouble. They will run you to the nearby beach - sandy and quiet, with a bar selling decent food and cold drinks - and collect you - or similarly drop off and collect at a seafood restaurant - or arrange a tour - or send someone to the nearby pharmacy - or arrange a takeaway (excellent) from a local eatery

Preference is given to using local people and suppliers. The local roadside eateries will supply chicken fried rice for 2 - 100 baht or an iced coffee for 18 baht, a banana roti is in the same price range - good food prepared by local people for local people, at local prices. Not all speak English, or have a menu in English, but you get by - its half the charm of the place.

If you want to wander, motor bikes are available, and helmets, or you can walk to the night market in the fishing village - about 10 minutes.

If you want a nightclub around the corner, or designer goods shops just down the street. MacDonalds within earshot or a beach like Benidorm in peak season, this is not the place for you, although each of there is a cheap taxi ride away.

It makes a homely and tranquil base - and attracts a wide international clientele - whilst we were there Swedes, Australians, Italians, Chinese, all of whom seemed to share our view of Sansuko.
Would I come back - there are so many other places to see I don’t normally go back anywhere, but would I recommend a friend - very much so.

I stayed with Bobbie an Steve for 3 amazing weeks. I was picked up the airport and was fascinated by the 'real' Phuket. Located in a little fishing village with no tourists, it has a lovely pool which was lit up like a tropical lagoon at night, and a bar with a big screen connected to Bobbie's ipad ( I enjoyed playing DJ) .Very clean an modern. The staff Eddie, Bia and Doha are very friendly and helpful. I travelled alone looking for peace and quiet and was not disappointed. I was given a tour of the area an shown the best restaurants and places to visit, and the local beaches which were amazing. The closest being Giraffe beach, which I often had to myself, 5min from Sansuko. Free transfers are provided. I enjoyed cooked breakfasts and a roast dinner on a Sunday by the pool ! We had a little party 1 night with a buffet, which was a great chance to meet other guests. Child friendly. On another occasion Steve and Bobbi took us to Patong for a Night out, OMG haha it was great experience ! I went elephant trekking, white water rafting, snorkling, and passed my PADI open water diving course, all kindly arranged by Bobbi at discount prices ! Also, hire a moped from Sansuko as it is a great and cheap way to get around. The villagers were so friendly, waving and saying hello whenever I went for a wander. I felt very safe. The market was good and at 5pm each day the Gibbons come out of the forrest to the delight of the local children, who fed them with peanuts, etc. I was made to feel part of the family and was very sad to leave. I cannot wait to come back !!
