“A lil' paradise in Samui....”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 26, 2013

Amazing location and view. This stunning villa took our breath away.... The rooms are big, modern and clean. The private barthrooms are just ridiculously stunning : one of them got a private pool / jacuzzi in it! Very large living room with an amazing view as well ! Very quite, peaceful and beautiful... It was a dream and a pleasure to experience this lil' heaven... Definitely gonna come back!!!

Room Tip: Ask Vicky she Will totally help you with everything.

What I like is the villas is in the hug of nature, and the best view that you can see whole of Chaweng beaches area, private swimming pool for every villas, look very nice, beautiful architecture Bali style, peace full, I think this is the good place for family trip or friends group party

I'm lucky that I have chance to be there, to meet my friend again :)

If you would love to enjoy your coffee in the morning with a stunning panorama of Chaweng bay and the Gulf of Thailand then you have to be here to believe it, the most wonderful at dawn and dusk that we ever did see before... the managers and staff were so friendly and thoughtful. I can just imagine a dinner on two levels overlooking the ocean at sunset with a fabulous thai style bbq and buffet celebration here in an atmopshere of the Balaniese character. It really is as much of the dream as you can allow yourself to relax into and enjoy. From concierge to butler service and far much more in fact. All that you want. Ed Rocks Villa offers you everything and they'll even help you build a romantic and relaxing experience or mix with all the excitement and adventure that this beautiful island beholds. Look no further, book your stay here! Amazing Value.

I am still reeling from the experience at $900.00 au per night i expect my accommodation to be really excellent But this tired shabby villa is a Joke and and the owner is sitting back laughing, The transfer car was filthy the house was filled with really junky old mish mash of furniture with dusty asian Artifacts (not) were plonked everywhere to fill up space. The smell of dampness was very present .. the plunge pool in the master bedroom had a rockery which had barley 1 live plant in dry old dirt . All the outdoor area looked as though as plants died they just put a statue or ceramic pots as a fill in.The new manager was nice and tried to accommodate our requests but he had hardly any english and even less experience in the job . Food was average and the staff were smoking in the kitchen whilst cooking .... The toilet near pool was leaking all over the floor when flushed. We had no internet for 3 days and no outside phone line either.
The manager MRS PUONG ?? the agent in Ko tao denied and rejected our comments and complaints and was unwilling to refund any part of the balance of the time we had paid for as we had to leave after 3 days approx $ 3000 AU ,Infact she wanted us to pay for the following week also and responded with " This is not 5 star property" My response...... But you are charging 5 star price !!!

Absolutely unbelievable attitude and a terrible experience
I HATED EDEN ROCK VILLA

The villa has changed owners since some of the previous posts and it appears the only thing the new owner is interested in is fleecing you of your money. Who knows what they do with the income because it's pretty clear they do not spend it on this tired, remote and dusty villa.

The staff onsite were lovely and helpful, especially the villa manager. It's an outrage that they are left at the villa, holding it together with band-aids whilst the owner lords it up on nearby Koh Toa.

Things started badly and quickly got worse. We were picked up at the airport in a sedan that would not start at first. When we asked for the aircon to be turned on we were told that it was not working. In transit to the villa we asked if there was cold beer at the property, we were told yes, but had to make two stops on the way to the villa to purchase some! When we arrived we discovered that the air-conditioning was not working in one of the rooms, the internet was disconnected (it took three days to get it connected), the property looked tired, smelt musty and was in need of a good jet wash! On our third day we discovered that the glass table downstairs was actually broken in three places, but had been covered by a table cloth to avoid detection. Thankfully we had not cut ourselves on it, but that was the straw that broke the camel’s back!

The pool is fantastic, with a tremendous view and again, the staff were lovely and tried very hard to keep this sinking ship afloat. These are the only positives I can say about Eden Mock. For the price they are charging for this property you can get FAR better elsewhere on the island.

My wife and I spent last weekend at Eden Rock in Koh Samui. Let me say that as beautiful as the pictures are on the website they don't quite capture the dramatic location and view. We were picked up by the driver who took us on the 20 minute ride to the hotel. We arrived late at night so we weren't able to appreciate the view until waking up to a full 180 degree view of Chaweng beach and the surrounding islands. We stayed in the Rice House. The villas are HUGE, 3 full floors with 2 bedrooms complete with 2.5 baths. The 2 decks are expansive and both have incredible views. The infinity pool is awesome for just lounging and reading listening to music. The villa is fully wired for sound complete with an ipod hookup. There are 2 flat screen tvs but we never turned them on.
The staff is so incredibly warm and friendly, they made us breakfast both mornings on our deck overlooking the sea. There were always fresh towels and flowers and nothing was ever too much to ask. We went to lunch down at the beach and the driver was happy to drive us and to come back and get us when we were done.
We have stayed at some amazing resorts over the years (one and only reethi rah, shangri la boracay, burj al arab) and this ranks right with all of those with ease. It is the perfect place to get away from it all and relax.
We really loved the authenticity of the design and architecture, it really feels like you are in a far off place. We had an opportunity to check out the Eden Rock Villa which is absolutely ridiculous...4k sq feet with 4 br's, huge living areas and decks, complete with infinity pool and swim up bar. We will definitely be coming back here with a few friends to experience that....

I spent an extended weekend at Eden Rock with close fiends. There was nothing better than swimming in the infinity pool and watching the sun set over Chaweng beach, whilst the lights of the squid boats began to glow on the ocean. Beautiful!

Excellent staff, superb food. Luxury at it's finest! I'm thoroughly looking forward to a return visit in the near future!
