“Great welcome, great location”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 11, 2012

We arrived on foot as the Pacha Villa is one of the few places to sleep within 500m of the long distance footpath GR51. It was very wet. We didn't really want to walk out to get an evening meal so it was great to have such a friendly welcome from Cyndie and Geoff. This included them offering us an evening meal!
Comfortable rooms and a good night's sleep.
Breakfast was excellent and then we were on our way.
Overall a very pleasant experience - with some fun too.
Location is good for walking and cycling and there are very few places to stay in the area.

We did a self drive and found Pacha Villa on the outskirts of a quiet village, 20 minutes drive from the buzz of Toulon - its a good location for walking, biking, (Geoff has 2 bikes) touring and, of course as we found, relaxing by the pool. We had 5 nights in the deluxe room - very comfortable and reasonably priced. Book direct for a good rate! Good to have the outside balcony leading out from our bedroom - with views of the garden. The pool was clean with ample loungers for all the guests. The continental breakfasts were ample. The bonus was the offer of an evening meal and the comfortable seating in the bar area. There is a friendly restaurant 150 yards down the road, but maybe avoid the Tartar du Beouf en Cru unless you know what it is! Also a patisserie and other shops nearby. We arrived as guests and felt we left as friends - Geoff & Cindy were very welcoming as was DJ their Alsation dog! Many funny and memorable moments! Local 'Cave' well worth a visit.

Room Tip: Ask if you want air conditioning or a fan and a north or south facing room.

Please be careful!!! Geof and Cindy, the owners, are crazy so expect to spend a little quiet but very fun weekend!!! Of course, I'm joking. We have been there in July, we were four, two couples. B&B is little but cozy and rooms are well-appointed. The swimmingpool is clean and you can lay in the sun into garden or stay in the shade on comfortable hammocks and if you're hungry or thirsty ther is a summerhouse with BBQ right in the middle of the garden (in the same place you take the breakfast). We go back and you?

We stayed at Pachavilla on 26th July. We had a wonderful time in a swimming
pool with a drink and in that particular moment Geoff took us a photo :)
You arrive as a guest and leave Pachavilla as a friend of Pachavilla's owners. Very friendly and pleasant atmosphere. Delicious dinners and breakfast (breakfast was included in the price). Chill-out in swimming pool and hammock is free for all guests and we really enjoyed it!
Perfect place for families with children and car - calm, secure and clean place. Located not far away from the motorway and tourist attractions. Good value for money.

The owner dropped everything on a sticky Saturday afternoon and drove 25 minutes to collect us from Toulon, where we had arrived, very hot and laden with baggage, with tickets on to Paget-Ville for a train for which we discovered we had to wait nearly three hours. We phoned and were soon collected and sitting by the pool with a cool drink. Next we got a lift into the village to visit an antique shop spotted earlier, and in the morning driven to the airport for very much less than a taxi. Geoff came in and made sure all went smoothly. This may have saved us a 60euro fee for re-issue of a boarding pass so all in all we were delighted.
On top of this, dinner was delicious, the pool was cool, the dog was lovely, and the company was great. We played a complicated board game we had brought accompanied by regular supplies of suitable drinks served by Geoff with suitable cheerful commentary.

Room Tip: The Napoleon room has an adjoining room that could be ideal for a family though locked for us, as we...

I was in the Napoleon suite where there was an en-suite and nice sized bedroom. The added bonus of this suite is that there is a jacuzzi bath which is very relaxing. There is a tv with digital basic channels. Parking facilities are pretty good although 1 car per guest. The guest house facilities also include a nicely stocked bar and a swimming pool which is a decent size. Internet is available via wi-fi or using their computer which is good if you forgot your laptop etc. Breakfast is continental and this was not too bad, plenty of cereals, breads and fruits. They also offer a dinner in the evening - a 3 course meal for 18 euros. I found the hospitality very good and I would recommend this place to families as well as for couples.

There is basic gym equipment which is ok to use and you are able to hire bikes if required.

There is a large dog on site called DJ who is very tame and friendly (understands French and English commands).

I had a great time staying here, Cyndie & Geoff are very welcoming hosts- nothing was too much trouble for them and you feel right at home. The weather was beautiful and the pool was great for helping you cool down, not to mention the rosé wine from the local vineyards :-)

Breakfast on the terrace was excellent, not to mention all the fruit, including the apricots freshly picked from the tree in the garden!

Had the Red room which was very comfortable with more than adequate storage space...I have stayed on two previous occasions- the Loft and Napolean rooms are superb, with en-suite.

Puget-Ville is a lovely village and there is so much to explore in the surrounding areas. I flew into Toulon-Hyères airport which was a much quicker transfer time compared to Marseille.

I hope to return again very soon!
