we had a lovely two night break around a late autumn visit to the lost gardens of heligan.we couldn't have picked a more peaceful spot, convenient for the gardens and mevagissey.Mel and Wendy were incredibly welcoming and we were able to come and go as we pleased, the local pub is a short walk away and serves simple unpretentious food.We worked up an appetite with a long walk on the beach and,as it was unseasonably mild, slept with our windows open so we could listen to the sea...bliss.All in all a real break from the daily grind.
