they make their own bread and sausages that taste really good. nasi goreng and bubur jawa which my husband ordered tasted just right. the room is spacious and super comfortable. i love how they use the traso and other tempo doeloe design elements. the staffs are really friendly and helpful. definitely want to come back.

We stayed in d’Omah Hotel mind April and really enjoyed the experience.
The Staff was extremely friendly, right from the arrival. The room was well equipped and we loved the set up. Rooms are organized around several heritage houses in a wonderful landscape garden. Each house has its own small pool.
The restaurant was by the rice paddies and the village road. The food was varied and really tasty. It’s also very reasonably priced, including a good selection of wines from Australia, Indonesia and Chili (definitely the cheapest but great quality bottles I have encountered in Indonesia). As part of your room package, you have a simple a la carte breakfast included. You can however get a more substantial breakfast by paying a small fee for additional dishes. The French toast was delicious, with strawberries and mint!
The art galleria is also featuring nice furniture and handicraft, all made by local artists. There is also a Batik workshop and shop close by, selling amazing pieces at a great price.
Overall, a good choice for a couple of days! It is outside of Jogjakarta but close enough. We loved visiting the nearby village, and going for morning jog in the rice paddies.

We stayed for 4 nights, the staff were great and super friendly, as was the owner, who treated us like guests in his own home. Spacious rooms, and living areas, semi private pools, the room decor was unique and very much to my liking, i believe all the rooms are different. Good value for money. It's 20 mins out of town, very peaceful, but close enough to all the attractions. I will be recommending this place to many people. It actually made the whole trip for me, i was happy just hanging out there. Thanks!

I stayed 4 nights at this beautiful Tembi village boutique hotel. What a stunning birthday gift it was! The hotel has owner Warwick Purser's signature design flair everywhere - a real home away from home. But the lasting memory I suspect will be the overwhelmingly friendly & helpful staff - and the welcoming village people. It was a privilege to be part of this community.

We booked this hotel on the recommendation of a friend and will be going back to him for other holiday suggestion on the back of this one. As mentioned previously, it is located about 20 minutes from the centre of Jogja and about 45 minutes from the airport. We loved everything about it; the rooms were nicely furnished, each with their own outdoor seating area. The saltwater pool is beautifully laid out with ample shaded sofas and day beds. The service is fantastic, friendly and sincere.

We arrived before check-out time and they still managed to give us one of our rooms. They also allowed us to keep it for a late check-out.

We hadn't planned on eating at the hotel, but had lunch there a couple of hours after we check-in because it was convenient. We were so glad that we did. I could have sat in the restaurant all day, not just because of the delicious food but so that we could watch life go by. We had a few complaints from the children that the food was taking too long, but it soon became obvious that the reason for this was that everything was prepared from scratch. The food was delicious and incredibly fresh. They managed something that few restaurants can master; they mastered every dish on a fairly eclectic menu (Indonesian, Thai, European, Mexican....). We ended up eating all of our meals here, something we usually avoid in hotels but we still checked out wishing that we could have tried a few more dishes on the menu.

Sadly, we never managed to fit in time to use the spa etc. We used the hotel as a base to visit Prambanan (less than an hour away) and Yogyakarta. We would have loved to have spent a day just in the hotel and the village but unfortunately, we had to return to Singapore. Our stay in Jogja would have been much less memorable had we booked into a standard issue international brand hotel. It's difficult to find fault with D'Omah. We wholeheartedly recommend it.

Room Tip: We were fortunate enough to have been allocated interconnecting rooms (Rama & Shinta), close to...

Hotel is very dominated by the traditional atmosphere.
The atmosphere are very homey, where we are allowed to live like in the village with themed building of traditional Java architecture complete with Joglo.
The room are very spacious, breakfast on the edge of the rice fields, the existence of a mini river in front of the room, pigeons and peacocks are allowed to live freely, a very beautiful swimming pool with original stone, wall decorations covered by the full story of batik pattern, the food was very tasty, especially Gudeg Manggar and French Toast that should be attempted, and a library with a complete collection of books.
Maybe this is one of the must-visit place for enthusiasts traveler with high priority of art architecture and maximum comfortable.
I will always take the time to stay at this hotel while I return to my hometown in Yogyakarta.
