“Superb Sicilian cafe, diner & shop...”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 13, 2013

We stumbled upon this superb Sicilian cafe, diner & shop, which was near to our hotel. As this is somewhat inconspicuous, we walked past it a few times. However, we're glad that we did go in for dinner one evening, then returned for lunch and dinner on the last day of our holiday. Our only regret is that we wished we had discovered this diner, at the beginning of our holiday. The food was not only scrumptious, but also great value for money...and they catered for those with a gluten free requirement. Their shop was well stocked and included gluten free products. The diner & shop was very clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful.

“Food okay but staff appalling”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed October 3, 2013

Food was okay but staff seemed disinterested in serving as too much effort required. Also make sure you check your change when leaving this restaurant as the non local waitress more interested in making ten here and there on unsuspecting tourist

“A little treasure-”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 23, 2013

We found this restaurant by chance, is a little hidden but certainly work the effort to find,
(its in the Main High Street), but just a little hidden entrance is back from the road.
Great food, good service, food is delicious, typically Italian food from Sicily, good portions,
we shared a platter between of Italian meats and cheese, it was certainly enough for two,
mains were delicious, fish platter and veal served with a delicious sauce, plenty of sides fries and large salad to accompany. Wines reasonable priced.
Friendly staff, even the chef came out on leaving, it was so good we returned the next day for morning coffee/tea and delicious cakes - um so tasty. We also found a supermarket connecting to next door- selling great Italian produce, all fresh and a wide selection-(a pity we discovered this just a day before leaving) - Would not hesitate to recommend, infact have even given some business cards from the restaurant to friends we met that live locally- Great evening thanks to all - Uncle & Nephew

“Not sure about the cafe...”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 23, 2013

but the grocery store side is amazing and is opened relatively late - esp by Malta standards. Keep up the good work and the friendly staff!
