This is by far one of the best Timeshare resorts we have stayed at in Europe.It is well worthy of its RCI Gold crown status unlike some I could mention.We stayed in a 2 bedroomed 2 bath apartment with an amazing view and a balcony that measured 24 foot by 14 foot we had our own sunbeds on our balcony so if you wanted some privacy it was perfect.The whole resort was spotless I dont know how some reviewers can say it wasnt? The restaurant on site Little Italy was good and the entertainment was above average, the poolside bar was excellent and very good value for money although the drinks were a bit dear but if you timed your drinking there was 2 happy hours during the day.The resort is situated on a hill we were pleasantly surprised to find it was nowhere near as steep as some reviews had insinuated my Mother is 80 years old and she managed to climb it on several occasions there are plenty of taxis if you want one.The only downside I can think of is you have to park your car (if you have a hire car) outside the resort but we always found a space.The reception staff can't do enough for you and speak fluent English. It is very unusual to have a time share apartment cleaned every day as it is after all self catering but we had this service every day. We were all extremely happy with the Hollywood Mirage and would highly recommend it to anyone and wouldn't hesitate in returning.

We booked a promotional holiday after being called on a regular basis by a UK company. On arrival we were pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of the whole resort and even better at the Hollywood Mirage and the Club and Heights. We had a 2 bed 2 bath room which was well equiped with fitted kitchen ( toaster, microwave, oven/grill, ceramic hob, kettle and ample cutlery and crockery). The cleaning service was really good and the staff very pleasant. The buildings and swimming pools are of a high standard and well maintained. Bars and diners are of a good standard and the prices of food are comparable with down town Los Christianos but the drinks can be quite expensive if you miss the happy hour. Entertainment is ok but thats about it, Gordon in the Club bar is probably the best all rounder. The on-site supermarket is good for British choice but more expensive than the supermarket 200 metres away. There are plenty of bars to eat and drink in around Los C, and we found Taylors Bar good for basic food and drink at brill prices and a friendly welcome and only 10 minutes walk away. Taxi's were good with a fare averaging 6 euro's from Los C to Beverly. Only down side was the presentation you have to attend which lasted 7 hours, but you know this when you book and these guys have a job to do, but read into everything thats said carefully before committing yourself ! ! We went there as guests of the timeshare re-sellers. We only had to pay our fares. The resort was excellent. The food in the resort was very good in particular the roast lamb.
The HM is on the side of a mountain and its fine walking down but its a killer walking back up. They do however provide a free coach.
The sales process is lenghtly ( 8 hours)and very polished. We did not however buy anything.

we had never been to Tenerife before and we were pleased with our decision to go there. It was all very clean and they have a wonderful water park called Siam.

Returned to the Hollywood Mirage and it was as good as it was 5 years ago. We are not owners at the Mirage but exchanged a week. The staff are excellent, cannot do enough for you and the resort is spotlessly clean. The food is very good at Little Italy on the resort, but the staff not very cheerful which was a let down. The reception staff will go out of their way to help you and the trips that you can arrange with the reception are excellent. Both Loro park and Siam Park were excellent trips and I would highly recomend them. The resort shop is very good, but if you walk down the hill to the Spa the prices are much cheaper. Yes, the hill is steep, but it is fine and you can catch the free bus down to the harbour. The bus is prompt and again a very good service. I did receive visit from a rep on one occasion, but he certainly did not hassle me and i did not receive any telephone calls etc. I am surprised to read that people are not happy to attend the timeshare meetings. I heard a few people around the people commenting that they had received the holiday for 99 pounds (paid for their own flights) but did not want to attend the meeting and when they stated they did not want to attend for some four hours, then they were asked to pay for the hotel, around £1000. Well, you don't get anything for nothing so I cannot understand why they would accept a holiday to such a high standard resort for £99 and not expect to attend the meeting. These people went onto state that they believed the meeting would be either in the morning or the afternoon and not for four hours. Well surely, either 9 - 1pm or 1pm until 5pm is either morning or afternoon!! My advice is don't expect a cheap holiday without having to do something for it!!! I am no fan of timeshare rep's but then I would not agree to a freebie holiday without thinking there must be some snag. So if you accept the free holiday, you do have to attend a long drawn out boring, hard sell meeting and you will get hassle for the whole week, if you don;t want this, pay full price for a holiday and go somewhere else! Anyway rant over and owners, enjoy your week there and if you exchange a week and fancy Tenerife then i would strongly recommend this resort.
