“Excellent location, friendly staff, too much noise”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 27, 2014

Hotel is nice and clean and very well located. Food is OK. The front desk employee was very helpful in arranging rent-a-car which was delivered in front of the hotel as agreed. Afterwards you can leave the leave the car keys at the reception desk. We enjoyed our stay, but did have a bad experience with a group of very, really very noisy of english speaking guests as for two nights they occupied the rooms next to the left and right. I suppose the management of the hotel should be more rigorous about such disturbing groups.

Room Tip: Ask for the room facing the pool as the view is much nicer and during the night most probably less n...

Stayed for three nights with friends. On arrival very impressed with the amount of restaurants and shops surrounding the hotel. Room was clean and tastefully decorated, however where the air con should have been there was a hole with air con missing. The pull out bed had no bedding to make the bed. Asked for bedding next day and was remedied. Luckily didn't need air con as wasn't too warm but wouldn't be good in a couple of months. There was an air fan on ceiling though as well that worked.

For the time of year, The swimming pool was the best pool I have ever been to ever! It was huge, had saltwater ( rare), it had lots of twists and turns to add fun and interest. There were loads of sun loungers and could always find a secluded spot. The sun loungers were comfy and brand new. However, there were so many that I can imagine during peak time it would be quite cramped because there were literally hundreds of loungers! At the back of the pool it was a Pleasant surprise to find the beach with numerous bars and cafés. However, there are no showers on the beach, very limited sun loungers so have to get up very early to get one and the sand is black shingle.

Restaurants across the road were exquisite with excellent customer service and lovely food. At the hotel, there were building works being carried out which we didn't notice. They gave us a complimentary bottle of champagne to apologise with a letter even though we never had any trouble or saw or heard the building works at all. A nice gesture.

We were in room 4131 which was opposite the adjacent bar. When the nighttime entertainer started at 7.00pm it was very loud in room but finished at 11.00. He was rather good though!

If you are a party animal, the resort is only 10 mins taxi from main strip, 7 euros.

On the down side, we requested an extension on our room as we had late flights. We know that the hotel wasn't full but they refused our request. Also nowhere to store luggage and they wouldn't let us leave them anywhere. For such a huge hotel, there should have been somewhere to store cases. Poor customer service.

Aside from this, it was a pleasurable stay and I would highly recommend to stay here. I think though that in the peak season it would get very crowded and cramped.

Our apartment was dated but fin ,very clean. Good service as regards cleaning etc.. We found the resort very expensive however and had to leave the Parque Santiago to eat and drink. For example a beer was on average 1 to 2 euro for half a litre outside the resort but 4 to 5 euro inside resort. The food was very poor in the Atlantico Resurant within Parque Santiago iii. If visiting Tenerife again i would choose somewhere else to stay witin Los Cristionos.

Room Tip: If you stay here be prepared to walk to other areas for food and drinks.

Enjoyed the short break for my husbands 50th. Plenty of sunshine. The hotel was very central to all the shops and restaurants. The big pool was cold. Didn't find the heated pool until a couple of days into break

I stayed here last year in July for 10 days weather was hot in a really nice location with shops restaurants are bars all around. when we first arrived we was in a small reception which had a few chairs while they told us where our apartment would be it was quite a long time the reception had no bar and hardly any seats so I was stood up for a while although there was wifi. we only arrived quite late when it was dark and it was really hard to find our room in the dark we had to travel up stairs with our luggage which I found difficult especially when they are heavy and I had children. when we got in our room it was big and had space with a really big balcony with sun beds which I thought was great. we just arrived in the room we was all warm and I noticed there was no air conditioning!! it was in middle of july it was so warm and there was no air conditioning all there was were a small fan on the celling which made no difference at all. Then they told us we had to pay for air conditioning which was really expensive! It is a really big complex with a large swimming pool which was very clean and lots of sunbeds, but if you did not get up before 10 it was a struggle to find sunbeds but at most places its the problem. there is a beach which wasn't the best but it was a quite nice beach with a nice place to eat on it which was bit dear compared to others but it was nice food. there is a shopping centre right in your complex which sells braclets, perfume, clothes ect. the bars was close to the pool and also could eat there which was reasonable price for on a complex. I just went to the local supermarket which was across the road and really cheap and had everything you need. when they told us the hotel had wifi which my daughter who is a teenager really wanted I thought it would be around but it was in the small reception which wasn't even close to the pool and it wouldn't even let her connect to it because it was slow and lots of people were trying to connect as you can imagine but in the bars around the complex would of been better. the rooms were cleaned daily very well, the bedding was only changed once though but the towels were daily which I was happy about. the balcony was not cleaned it had cockroaches on it so none of us really went out and it got that bad with them on some even come in the room! the staff where so polite and friendly around the complex and handled it really well with security but the reception staff was quite rude if im honest. overall the complex its self is really nice and clean and the rooms was clean just couldn't sleep well with it being so hot and not having air conditioning. I would definitely recommend this for families and children with lots to do around the complex with a nice Italian restaurant just outside of it which was the best food around and wasn't to dear. finally, we had to be out of our room for 10 and we was only being picked up at 6, there was nothing for us to do really no where to sit we was bored it was to warm to go out in our clothes and we couldn't go in the pool there was no where to change accept the outdoor small toilets which smelled really bad. this was a last minute cheap holiday for such a cheap price we couldn't expect much more but you had to pay for most things in your room such as the safe, wifi, tv remote and air conditioning which they should of told us before hand so if you would like those things bring extra spends because I only found out you could buy air conditioning when we was leaving or I would of bought it!

Room Tip: the bottom floor because there is a lot of stairs to be carrying and one close to the reception its...

We have just returned from Parque Santiago. We have visited here many times and it never lets us down. It is bang in the centre for shops , beach , bars and entertainment. The whole complex is spotlessly clean. The staff are wonderful. The gardens are a delight. They even have weighing scales in reception for your cases . Don't worry about the steps they have lifts and escalators and strong men to help .You can always get a sunbed and umbrella.
