We went to Aqualand towards the end of our holiday. There were around 15 of us there and we loved it. We all got taxis which i think worked out cheaper than thebus there because there were so many of us. We got a ticket forall of us together at our hotel reception which was very handy. It was €23 each. You have to pay extra for your locker and the food isnt cheap but for a full day out, it's not bad. They have sun loungers there so you really can spend the day there either just lying around or enjoying the slides. Loungers are €3 i think. The slides are brilliant. There are some very long queues but i thought they were worth it. Dont forget to bring your flip flops. We put ours in our lockers and we all burnt our feet pretty badly on the hot tiles, just put the flip flops on your hands when going down a slide. There are different degrees of scariness when it comes to slides. There's the calm, child-friendly ones, ones with 2,3,4 person rubber rings, a swimming pool which curls around part of the park which has a slight current so you just drift along in your ring (aptly called the lazy river), and of course the steep, fun ones. The queue for these is much shorter! Dont miss the three slides in a row up the stairs near the very deep pool. There are 2 green ones and a yellow in the middle and they are so much fun! There is a wave pool but the waves are only turned on at certain timesso ienquire about that. I was a bit underwhelmed with the wave pool actually. There is a huge children's section which looked like so much fun but obviously i was a bit old! The food is decent enough, baguettes with salad, cheese, tortilla etc burgers, pizza, hot dogs, huge drinks. I would definitely reccommend this park toanyone and especially to people like us on our leaving cert holiday, water park adrenaline is the perfect hangover cure!!
