“BEWARE!!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 8, 2010

Firstly on the the positive side the staff were very friendly and helpful and spoke quite good english so no problem there..the resort was clean despite our 2 cockroach friends that we made on the 1st night..but on the down side as far as food goes if you're a picky eater you might just struggle. onion rings and chicken nuggets for breakfast along with vegetables and sausages that have been heated up for 3 days running and then just covered in sauce to hide that fact..same thing every morning..dinner and tea. me and my partner ate out a lot just to stop the sick feeling of being so hungry...the worst thing!! the drinks!! alllll the water is salted..tap water..shower water and the pool water so when you have the drinks (which is juice syrup based and watered down) all you can taste is salt..its was diabeties in a cup!! im so glad we didn't pay full price for this holiday and got it cheaper then the original couple or we would have complained!! bus stops are near enough and its about 30mins to anywhere of interest.

just returned from 7 days , hotel was nice and rooms very clean but stairs bit scarey !!! food was good and plentiful , pool area ok but have to bag a sunbed early , tip get one at the bar end of the pool as deep end of the pool and fewer kids ,, all the staff are very friendly and very helpful, rooms were cleaned and fresh towels at least 5 times during our stay, the hotel is in a quiet area but local bus stops are very close to the hotel and provide a very good , frequent service to all over the island .we walked to playa de ingles took about 40 mins via road route as very warm and too hot for the beach walk.Agree with previous review re hotel rooms and lack of a/c this would be i think a bi of a problem in july/ aug especially if with children. overall good hotel good for families but also there were older guests.

We can not fault this hotel, fantastic value for money. A very friendly hotel and we made some amazing friends.
Clean and tidy, decor a bit dated, the food was basic but always could find something to eat..
There is no air conditioning which in May was not a problem but July and August we feel could become uncomfortable.
Booked with Media travel with no problems, did e mail hotel to check we were booked in.
Good flight with Ryan air and had transfers with Resort hopper with no problems. My only advice would be to read all the information you are sent and given re ringing to confirm you transfers back and luggage allownaces and sizes.

Decided to book here for a 1 week easter break as it sounded a lot quieter than the other resorts. Overall an enjoyable holiday despite being kept awake until 1 am with guitar playing and singing Spaniards.Reception explained that they were only there to have a good time over Easter. I explained that this was my intention and did not feel the need to play a guitar and sing at the top of my voice. Hopefully it will be quieter when you stay there. Food adequate, evening meal my family and myself are not fussy eaters and always found something to eat even if it was pizza and chips for the third day running. however breakfast disapointing on more than 1 occasion we were served variuos vegetables, chips and onion rings. despite this there was always the pastries and cold meats and cereals. Feel that it is a bit of a con calling this all inclusive when I compare it to other all inclusive holidays I have been on. Yes the drinks are included and a very good selection but snacks stopped at lunch time, only cake in the afternoon, had to pay for television and tennis etc. Staff very friendly and the bus to the beach was great.

we stayed here for 2 wks and enjoyed everything x the rooms were spacious and clean, the balcony was massive ! the pool was very clean and salt watered . the staff were very friendly especially the entertainment man . we had an eagle show, a lizard and snake show ,also bingo ,karaoke and quizzes . the food was alright as all inc goes but we did eat out a couple of times so we had something hot and to our own tastes . we read the reviews before going and i can honestly say i was shocked by what people had wrote . we have had holidays else where too and have a 2yr old and a fussy 10 yr old but didnt find the problems others had wrote ??

Very friendly and helpful staff, rooms was adequate and spotless, food was not a strong point and catered mainly for German taste, as they were by far the majority when we visited however it was edible and we did not have to “eat out”. The selection of all inc drinks was, in our experience slightly better than average. The hotel is ALL “all inc” and you do not need silly wrist bands!! We are not sure of the hotels description in any brochures as we did not book from one, but there is one point that does need mentioning for disabled holidaymakers, the hotel and its grounds are not disabled friendly. I was forced to use a wheelchair after we booked this holiday so we did not enquire at booking. The swimming pool and surrounding area, including access to most rooms is below ground level and only accessible by stairs, there are no ramps or lifts. A big problem for chair users. A lot of the ground floor rooms have a concrete spiral staircase to the bedroom and bathroom, without banisters. Not good after a couple of beers!!! A free bus service is provided to get to the beach, about 2 kilometres away, even this posed accessibility problems!!
