“If it's a quiet relaxing brek you're after..........................”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 6, 2011

The best description of Tisalaya Park is Basic.
Basic accommodation, basic meals. If meals are included in your holiday, you get a Continental Breakfast. You can get a fry up, but have to pay for it. When the dessert course is advertised as 'Fruit Of The Day' that is what you get. One banana or one orange or one apple. But the meals are adequate.
Staff are friendly though.
Tisalaya Apartments are situated in a residentual area miles from anywhere. However taxis into Playa Del Ingles are very cheap at 4 euros a time and public transport is cheap too.
Places to eat in the area are extremely limited.
There are apporox. 80 apartments, numbers 1 to 48 give a pool view. Need to be up early to get a preferred sun bed though.
You do get a ticket which entitles you to a free bus into Maspalomas Beach and these are at hourly intervals mid day. Same with return journey. The beach is worth a visit but watch for Africans trying to force their wares on to you.
Rooms are tidy enough and cleaned every second day. Alcohol isn't cheap but that applies throughout the area.
You expect to pay for a security box but to have to pay 2 euros a day for the television is a bit much.
The Market is worth a visit on Wednesdays and Saturdays and it is less than a 10 minute walk from the Tisalay.
There is a 'Holiday World' within 200 yards which is a large centre, which houses restaurants, a small bowling alley, gaming machines, and a carnival for the kids, including dodgems, Ferris Wheel etc.
Fortunately we managed to get a reasonable price for this holiday and as such did enjoy the stay, but if we had paid full price I would have expected much more.
If it's a quiet laid back holiday you're after, this would certainly serve the purpose.

Room Tip: Of the 80 odd apartemnts at this location, numbers 1 to 48 overlook the pool

We arrived after a very early morning flight to be told that our room had been trashed by the previous occupants and that we would have to move to another resort! I had already read on Tripadvisor that this had happened to other couples earlier in the year and it had actually turned out that they had been over booked! When i challenged the receptionist she admitted that she had lied and that indeed this was the case, so not only are they liars but they have absolutely no respect for the holiday makers that book their property in good faith. While there a Swedish couple arrived and were also told they had been moved, on arrival at the new resort the we met a further 4 couples who had been apparently over booked by them. This is an obvious case of greedy management taking the highest paying guests and moving out the ones who paid less......................Book at your peril!

The apartments are a good distance from the bars and restaurants . Taxis are cheap ( about €3 to most places around ) and the hotel provides a free shuttle service to the beach.

The apartment complex provided everything we needed. The swimming pool area was nice but people used to leave their towels on the sun loungers from early morning.

The apartment itself was basic they were cleaned every second day but they only changed the sheets after a week. If you wanted the sheets changed it cost an additional €6.

The staff were very helpful and overall we would recommend these apartments as a budget option as it only cost us €150 for a 7 night stay in mid October.

Booked through Low Cost Holidays and paid very little really so the for the price the accomadtion was good value for money.
The rooms are a little tired and could do with updating slightly but overall the stay was very nice.
The complex is very small so it doesn't get too busy around the pool and was very peaceful and relaxing.
Would recommend if on a budget.

We have just returned from staying here for 1 week. For the price it is excellent value. Rooms were cleaned every 2 days with fresh towels etc. Apartment is clean. 2 stove rings, kettle, bath and shower. Staff very friendly. Pleasant surroundings. Free bus to the beach.
Don't know why people are complaining about this place as you get what you pay for.

Great value for money although the accomadation is very tired and need updating.
The rooms themselves could be a lot cleaner although the towels and bed linen is clean which is the most important thing.
Overall though you get what you pay for and we did not pay that much for the accomadation so we think it's good value for money.
