“Lovely experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 6, 2014

Found this restaurant on tripadvisor in an afternoon. Booked for dinner that evening. What a find! Our young children ate from our starters, mains and got their own puddings. Made for a pleasant evening. (There is a couple of dishes for young children such as lasagne). Relaxed atmosphere. Generous drinks measures. Amazing food & wine. Highly recommend.

“Interesting fresh food and a nice experience.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 6, 2014

Very nice food and good wines. This is a special restaurant because Patrick, with the help of one assistant, does all the food himself. Get the table by the hatch and you will see him preparing everything freshly and he pops his head out regularly to check if things are OK for you. Be prepared for slow food, prepared with care and pride. You almost feel like you've been invited home to them. If you've ordered wine to go with you main course then I recommend a glass of something else to begin with or you may have finished the bottle before then main arrives. That is not a criticism just a useful observation - as someone else said this is not fast food. Just chill and enjoy the experience and the lovely food. We had the trilogy too and it was excellent. Absolutely would recommend and go back - nothing else we ate around Maspalomas/Meloneras was even close.

“Fine Dinning at El Tablero”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 5, 2014

The restaurant is conveniently located just of main GC1 motorway. The atmosphere is a bit formal and the waitress does not exactly put you at ease. That said we were looked after and she was attentive throughout the visit. The highlights of the evening were pan of king prawns and "John Dory" fillets with potato goulash. I would definitely recommend for desert to try "Dream of raspberry and vanilla". It is surprisingly light and exquisitely delicious. It is a bit pricey by local standards but the quality of food was superb.

“Excellent evenings”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 2, 2014 via mobile

Visited twice during our recent holiday. Some of the best food we have ever tasted in lovely surrounding. Despite small mix up on first birthday visit still really enjoyed it with a welcoming smile from the owners. Good value as well ! Will be back next year.

“very fine food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 1, 2014

This restaurant in El Tablero is a very good restaurant. Don't go for a quick diner, but take your time. Patrick Hartl is a good Chef and his wife, a little bit "timide" speaks German and a little English. We diner very well and the "dessert" was perfect ! On wednesday it is a menu from the "Chef". Closed on monday.
