The hotel is lovely, lots of places to sunbathe and relax and only a short 15min stroll to restaurants and the beach at Maspalomas. We stayed there half board and I wouldn't suggest it. Breakfast was good with lots of choice but the dinners were very much geared for the German market (lots of Germans there and they do steal the sunloungers!) The TV in the room had only a couple of English speaking channels also. We did notice quite a few tiles broken near the pool but you'd have flip flops on anyway so not a problem we didn't find.

After reading numerous reviews prior to going we didnt know if we had booked the right place for us but it was fantastic. We were greeted by friendly and efficient reception staff.
Our room was perfect. Spacious, light and airy with the most amazing views from our very private balcony. Our maid kept the room spotless. The dining room for all meals was clean and run efficiently. We could eat anytime in the designated times and sit where we wanted to. There was a great selection of food at all meal times and it was varied every nite. There was plenty of places to sit and get a drink in the hotel in the evenings. The entertainment was good but not outstanding. Exactly what we expected. Most things we wanted we could get in the shop in the hotel but if we couldnt then it was only a 5 minute walk to the beach where there was more shops and bars and eating places. If you had drinks in the hotel you could either pay for them at the time or put them on your room tab. We did as it was easy and we didnt have to pay as many tips. During the day there was loads to go and do and see if you wanted. Equally the beach and pool were lovely to relax at. Some people were moaning cos part of the pool was shut as filter had broken. We hadnt a problem with that as would prefer it to be shut than not properly clean. Also there was alot of pool left to use. The workmen were also quiet and considerate. We hired a car from the hotel and it was cheap and easy to sort out. We only had time to hire it for a day but could easily have had it for 3 days as there is so much to see. We made use of the hotel spa for 3 hours at 16 euros each and it was well worth it. A must to do. The rep we had for 1st choice was friendly and calm and knowledgable and efficient and didnt try to sell us any trips. Which was nice. Checking out was equally efficient as when we arrived and as our flight was at nite we could use a courtesy room for half and hour to shower and change. The transfer buses were on time and the airport more efficient than england. The weather was fantastic. The cocktails are to die for and the shots great value for money. The hotel is perfect for a quiet time but if you do want more to do its only a 20min pleasnt walk or short taxi journey to maspalomas. Altogether a perfect hotel making us a perfect romantic hoilday. We will definitely be going back there.
Me and my boyfriend visited this hotel 25th April and stayed for one week, it was abolutely gorgeous we got a really good deal at half board through Thomas Cook. We requested a sea view which we got so we were pleased. The hotel was very clean and tidy our rooms were cleaned daily and had alot of space to hang up our clothes. The staff were all very welcoming and helpful. The pool areas were very clean and tidy there was always space and plenty of sun loungers which were comfortable. All 3 pools were lovely... but cold (ok once you got in though) Breakfast was served from 7am to 10.30am and dinner was served 6pm till 9pm the food was very nice but towards the end of the week it did tend to get a bit samey, my boyfriend loved it but i am quite a fussy eater. We didnt really watch the hotel entertainment as we would go for a walk along the beach or to the shopping centre but we did see a couple of shows which were good. I thought the location was also ok, although if you have walking difficulties it is about a 10 min walk to the main beach but again that is lovely, there is a shopping centre next to the beach and along the beach a variety of cafes and restaurants. We would walk all the way along the beach to Playa Del Ingles it was quite far but it was amazing to see the sand dunes. I think a taxi to Playa Del Ingles was abuot 5euros. There are a few restaurants and shops across the road from the hotel on the little pebbly beach and they are reasonably priced. All in all we just wanted a relaxing holiday and we certainly got it, it was a brilliant holiday. We honestly couldnt pick fault with anything. Loved it and would definately return.
found the hotel to be not bad but some parts could do with some maintance , the tiles around the pool/sunbathing area's are breaking up big time and are a real danger to anyone walking around in bare feet, didnt think the food was that good in fact boring, they havnt got a clue about cooking bacon, couldnt fault the staff but as for the cost of drinking its got to rate one of the most expensive hotel iv stayed at, thats if you can get a drink as they never had many staff on a night time and no pool service at a 5 start hotel i would have expected this service, as for the cost of water what a rip off 2 euros in the bars but 2.4 euros around the pool for .5 ltr, at the local supermarket for the same make it cost .5 eoros for 1.5 ltrs
