Huh well what can i say really the first thing is that the kiwi caters for too many germans! We could not get a sunbed even though we reserved as early as 6 am, people just took the bed and left our towels on the floor! pool was clean except that you could not get in it! too many people in a small pool! Well the reception was never open except when the holiday rep was coming to see someone, any other time it was closed, Joe behind the bar was very helpful excpet when we asked for a coffee or a tea he said it was regulation that hot drinks were onyl served of a morning when everyone else were having one, and it took too much electic! and basiclly was just an effort! While we were staying at the kiwi one of the fellow holiday makers boiler fell off the wall and everything was ruined in their apartment! another fellow holiday maker next door to us said that their boiler had been leaking but could not complain as the receptionist was never there! She did complain to the rep which she said she would deal with. Another night we had decided to go clubbing, we got back around 2am and could not get in, we did not recieve keys and the gates were locked!! we were straned for a good hour before someone let us in after we had woken them up (sorry). Our bath in the room had a burn mark at the bottom! We did not have any air conditioning, and when we tried to open the shutters one would open but the other one got stuck. People kept stealing our chairs and sunbeds right off our front yard thing!!! The rooms were cleaned and towels were changed on a regular basis that is the only good point off our holiday. walking back to the apartments from either a nigth out or a resturant were very scary as we were in the middle of no were and there were no street lights. I regretted going there and asked for a transfer somewhere else but i was refused! I warn everyone do not go there it is a dump! Oh and there was a food inspection on our 3rd day and for the next 5 days the bar was closed!! wonder why?? you will regret every minute of your stay and gran canaria is a beautiful place. We are going again next year but definatly not the kiwi.

when we first arrived i was impressed.the bugalows looked lovely from outside,that soon changed when i got inside.
proberly when they were first decorated (about 20 years ago)
they were nice but they look jaded now.
the towels look like they have been used to wipe the floor,the pillows smelled of someone elses head (i asked for 2 more but they were the same) in the broom cupboard there were dead ants which looked like they had been there for ages.
if you do go take your own towels and pillowcases.

superb little complex, my wife and i and my two young kids loved it, really peaceful and friendly, brilliant bar man and all round good bloke! nice and clean bungalows and a lovely clean pool, happy hour which is always good! deffo will return

8 of us arrived Monday 14th April. The first thing that stood out for me was the pool, it looked so clean and spacious. The bungalows are a little dated decor wise and there is little hope for 3 people sharing all wanting to get a 'hot' shower. Around the grounds are stunning and peacefull and everybody is so friendly. Joe the barman is soooo funny! This complex is so close to everywhere and only 3-4 euros away to the the busy parts such as Playa del Ingles etc. We will all definitely be back!
