“Simply Brilliant”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 23, 2012

Visited this fantastic restaurant with another couple who'd read a review here and returned again and again. The quality and choice are superb as are the guys running the place who go out of their way to help you get the best possible Tapas experience. No wine list, just a few select bottles including the best Rioja we had on our trip. Highly recommended but may be worth calling to book as they are getting very busy as their reputation spreads

“fantastic food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 18, 2012

We went here based on trip advisor recommendations and were very happy with it. We went for tapas and, although it was quite different to tapas i've had in other places, it was delicious.
There's no menu, they just ask what you don't like (to avoid giving you what you don't want) and then bring you plate after plate of delicious food until you ask them to stop. They were really friendly, especiallyif you try to speak a bit of Spanish and make the effort.
The food was such good quality I was dreading getting the bill in case we'd over spent, but it was actually a lot less that some of the more touristy (and not as good) restaurants down by the sea.
The only slight let down is the location, which in't too picturesque, but the food and service more than made up for that.

“Superb food with great service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 1, 2012

After reading the previous reviews we decided to pay a visit and were not disappointed, loved the garlic prawns and the prawn tortilla, washed down with sangria.
On our second visit (last day) we had the gazpacho, having tried this before we were amazed with the freshness, aroma and the taste of this cold soup.
For the main we had hake with canarian potatoes, steak and chips and thin slices of steak topped up with garlic and grilled, absolutely scrumptious.
Will pay another visit when we return to Gran Canaria.

“Tapas at its best!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 21, 2012 via mobile

Took recommendation from other reviewers and they are spot on, great tapas bar and tapas based around seafood which is very plentiful on Gran Canaria.

Quietish at 8pm, packed at 9pm. Food is super fresh and well matched, we especially liked the Iberica ham salad with their own sweet peppers and surrounded with avocado and rocket leaves.

Will go back some day.

“Shame we could only eat once-great food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 14, 2012

After reading the reviews and as we were staying not far away we managed to make it here on our last day of holiday. Great shame -= but also lucky ( as we'd have come back daily otherwise!! and added kilos). The restaurant is small but friendly with we were told a daily changing tapas menu as well as a 3 course lunch, We opted for the tapas and shared five plates(large) between the four of us- prawn and pepper salad (tasty, with a slight kick but very fresh), octopus and chick pea stew ( wonderfully soft and right balance of condiments- beautiful), tuna chunks in a fabulously rich tomato and onion sauce- mmmm), little chorizos and a lovely spinach tortilla. Dessert was fab- mango mousse to die for and a lovely vanilla pudding. Wish we had the restaurant nearby here in the UK- we'd be there daily!!
