I stayed at this hotel for three nights whilst on a Christmas city break to Stockholm. It is located about one mile from Bromma airport so is a good 40 minute ride by public transport from the city itself – the main attraction being that this hotel is a lot cheaper than the city centre ones. I used buses 177 and 509 between local tube stations and the hotel. Word of advice for 177 users, you need to leave Solna Centrum to the left, just outside the football stadium. The 177 does not pick up at the main bus station at Solna.
Upon arriving at the hotel I was checked in quickly, without fuss. I had booked a 'budget' type room using Expedia. Beware, what budget actually means is that you get a room without a window. It didn't bother me, but might bother some and I don't recall getting any information on this when I booked.
The room itself was fairly small but clean and modern. The hotel rooms also benefit from free wi-fi which is now the first thing I look for when booking a hotel. This worked flawlessly and supported skype calling. You do however need to pick up your telia code number to make wi-fi work – these are available from reception.
Breakfast is included in all rates and as usual for Scandinavian hotels, this breakfast was excellent! The choice and quality were top notch.
Overall, for the price I thought I got very good value for money. The location is quite far out but as I say, quality and price more than make up for this. I would definitely use this hotel again in the future.
