We tried the duo of Pinis -- the father's Restaurant Can Pini during week 1 (separate review, but good) and the son's Braserisa Pini Pizzieria that is just down the street toward the beach as our goodbye meal in week 2.Arrived at 20h00 and the choice outdoor dining area was full, so we just grabbed a table in the street and sat down to an excellent meal for 4, served by the owner.
Before 20h30, so we benefited from the "early-evening" 3 course lunch menu with some great choices at 16E50 and 19E50. Superb starters with the duck confit and ham raviolis with carmelized onion and the baby squid; mains included a perfectly cooked grilled salmon and the cod cheeks on a sizzling stone; the desserts topped everything off perfectly, one of the best creme catalans we enjoyed among the many we sampled. In short, great and high quality food, attentive and good service, and a great spot for couples and families in the centre of the town -- what more could you ask for to create a perfect Tossa evening.
