We were staying in a Gite without a pool for the 2nd week of our holiday and our eldest daughter has always wanted to go to a water park, having seen them in many of the camp sites.
We went to this park so that we could kill two birds by spending a few hours in Biarritz too [thus keeping Dad happy]. It's a relatively small park, but has a wealth of different pools and slides, etc.
My elder daughter [8 yo] disappeared off to the near vertical slide, i joined her for some of the more moderate ones. My 4 year old spent hours on the mini-slides. We had decided to pay a little extra and have sun beds, so either my wife or I could lie and enjoy the sun while the other was supervising the little one.
When the day was done, and we were amongst the last to leave at about 5.40pm, there are loads of eating places outside, we would recommend the Thai restaurant, even the girls enjoyed the noodles!
It was a great day out for the family and we would definitely visit again when we're next in this wonderful area of France.
