We were staying overnight in Ducey on a visit to Le Mont St Michel. The town was tiny and options for a meal were limited. Our hotel suggested this restaurant and it was a great surprise. For less than Euro 30pp the two of us had a really lovely two course meal, plus hors d'oeuvres, an amuse bouche, cheeses and petit fours with coffee.
While the décor is dated, the service was very friendly and welcoming so the atmosphere was good. The menu is not extensive but we were very pleased with our choices. Tete au veau and langoustines for entrees, Lamb fillet with grilled vegetables and grilled fish with couscous for mains. The complimentary lobster bisque was a little gritty but full of flavor. We didn’t have a dessert but what we saw being served to other diners looked good.
Its not the most sophisticated dining but definitely a place I would visit again if I was in the area.
