“a really great stay, a bit pricey”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 15, 2013

Sayed here two nights before leaving Denmark. the location is wonderful, great views of water. the staff was quite pleasant and eager to please. the restaurant is quite good. Breakfast was a bit meagre, but then it was off season.
the rooms are expensive, but I suppose that is because it is fairly remote.
the bath facilities are quite old and can in no way be deemed luxury, that aspect is more like a seaside motel.

Room Tip: do get a water facing room. the view is amazing

The room is spacious but with poor and worn-out furniture. The toilet is running, the bathroom is from last century without the charm, the curtains do not block for light, and we have never been in a hotel so noisy!
At the same time the hotel is overprized...
But if you believe in: Location, location, location...then you should go here!

The hotel is nice, has to be said. And it's in a great location with rooms looking at the sea. Very nice.
But it's all a bit dated and you get this feeling of a quite old style one: no temperature settings in the room, old style shower in the bath etc.

The hotel has an excellent location on the very nice beach in Eneltoft. But there is no access to the beach and that is a major setback. The rooms definitely needs an upgrade, and the small inviting terrasses connected to the rooms should be clean.
The restaurant offers good food, smiling and willing waiters are not always competent.

Nice hotel, lovely views and so quiet and peaceful, even with a coach party the first night, a Harley Davidson party the second and 3 functions on the last night.
The indoor pool that had been mentioned before has been closed as they are doing up the apartments at that end and looks like they are going to sell them off.
We had a deluxe room, nothing extra special, but a good size.
The sun sets have been fabulous and breakfast is good.
All in all a great stay.

This is not a 5 star hotel, but that said, it is really a great place to stay. The rooms are quiet, very clean, large with free internet connecction. Some rooms come with a fireplace, and the rooms on the first floor open up to a terasse and the lawn leading to the beach 20 meters away.

The location cannot be beat right on the water and next to two the biggest tourist attractions in Jutland, the old wooden warship Fregatten Jylland and the lovely Glas Museum.

The view across the bay to Molsbjerge (Mols Mountains) is lovely and every room has that view.

The restaurant was very good, and the service just excellent.

They welcome dogs and it worked perfectly with my big Broholmer.

When we arrived we asked for a baggage trolley. A very unpleasant woman in the reception told us they had no such thing and with face turned away from us gave us the key.
Nice 70's Danish design furniture. Beautiful location and views from the room.
Bathroom curtain not properly fixed, shower battery missed pieces so difficult to work. Bathroom towels of a very poor quality and not many. No bathroom mat. Bedlinen also of poor quality.
Breakfast room ran out of orange juice and no one from the staff bothered to fill the jug.

I stayed in this hotel 2 years ago and was very satisfied. It is a pity it has gone so much down hill!
