First I must say that the name of this restaurant is actually Sole di Capri if you are looking for it!
But - what a find! Wonderfully welcoming restaurant in central Spa. We hadn't booked and as it was Friday night we were a little apprehensive that it would be completely booked up, but when we entered we were asked to wait a few minutes - with a glass of very acceptable red wine - and then were accompanied upstairs to our table.
The service was quick and very friendly - we live in Brussels and speak fairly good French but do still make mistakes - the waiter was patient and smiley and explained clearly when we needed help. I ordered the parmesan fondu to start and then a pizza romana; my husband ordered the bruschetta and then the quattro formaggio pizza. All our choices were fab - and the portions would feed the hungriest of people - husband had to eat one of my parmesan fondu, and at least half of my pizza! The house red wine was wonderful and very inexpensive. We were engaged in conversation by the people at the table next to us and they were locals who told us that luckily we had found the best pizzeria in whole of the Ardennes ( and he was the related to John Surtees if you are old enough to remember him! ).
We are used to the prices in Brussels which are scary, but two courses, two pichets of wine and coffees came to just 60 euros which we thought was incredibly good value.
We will be back the next time we go to Spa!
