“We enjoyed our stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 8, 2012

The B&B is very nice, the rooms are spacious and clean. Eamon is a very good host and his wife makes one of the best breakfast we had in Ireland. They made good recommendation for dinner. Thank you for that. We had a wonderful stay and we will definitely come back when visiting Ireland again.

he friendly owners make you feel that you are not customers but friends staying at their invitation. The rooms are 4 star standard with surperb views over lough Foyle. Breakfast is superb, cereals, fruit as well as the full Irish. No silly restrictions are in place. Very good value.

We booked here to go to after the golf in portrush. It was a trek as we hadnt realised there was a ferry. However once there, we couldn't have been happier. Great company, food, and impressive service and cleanliness.... fantastic atmosphere with a superior view and even a horse in the field beside the house. Wouldn't just reccommend it, would be there again as we are planning a trip now to the giants causeway, just so we can stay there again... See you son Nora and Eamonn.

Room Tip: To be honest, all the rooms are quiet and restful.

While admiring the beautiful views of emerald countryside, we stumbled upon the lovely Washington House B & B. Wow...what a find! Our rooms were well appointed, immaculate with personal touches and serene views of the sea. The breakfasts were scrumptious, and without a doubt the tastiest we had along our Ireland journey! Eamon and Nora are the consummate hosts...welcoming and friendly... the kind of folks that make you feel like you have known them for a long time!

My husband and family members enjoyed a most hospitable stay in the Washington House.Nora and Eamon were most welcoming hosts who made us instantly feel at home in their beautiful home which has first class amenities. If you are looking for a five star quality sea view room this is the house to go for .It is in a idyllic setting so peaceful and beautiful with scenery to die for.We all agreed that this bed and breakfast offered first class accomodation and would have no hesitation in recommending it to the discerning traveller

My wife and I stayed at the Washington House during April and were greatly impressed by the frienliness of Eamonn and Nora the owners, they could not have been more helpful. The room we had was on a corner with great sea views. The room was huge, well decorated, quiet and very comfortable.Breakfast was served until 10am and was excellent with a good selection of cooked food, cereals and fruit.I have stayed in quite a few guest houses throughout Ireland and have not stayed in better.I would recommend the Washington without hesitation. Thanks to Eamonn and Nora for a lovely stay.

We were attending a wedding at local hotel which was fully booked. We checked trip advisor and booked to stay at the Washington. Eamon and Nora met us to say hello and then showed us the wonderfully appointed en suite bedroom. We then went downstairs and had a got a cup of tea and some homemade buns and scone bread.
After a great nights sleep we had a late breakfast which can only be described as delicious. The personal touches made all the difference and i would highly recommend this lovely bed and breakfast
