After 10 days or so of Andalucian fare--lots of fish, cheese, meat, bread--this Moroccan eatery was a very welcome change of pace. Like other reviewers, we find the typical Spanish diet a bit short on vegetables, and some variety outside of pickled peppers was in order. Oscar is a very nice man, the place is pleasantly quiet (again, a nice change of pace) and the food was delicious. Hummus, ensalada de berenjenas, tajine, and couscous were all well-prepared and tasty (the tajine could have used a few more olives, or maybe that's just my husband's preference). He treated us to a couple of different local herbal liqueurs (not the first Spanish restaurant owner to do that), and was very genial. If we had stayed longer in Arcos we would have returned for sure.
